Tons of games releasing on Feb-23, obviously. Maybe this one stands out for having been announced all the way back at the Game Awards three years ago in the 2019 ceremony. A sequel to 2014's The Forest which drew particular acclaim for having been developed by just four people. Similar to that game, where you farmed resources and crafted during the day, to survive the onslaught of genetic mutants every night, this is a survival horror. This time you have been sent to an island to rescue a billionaire. You may pursue this, or ignore it altogether, instead focusing on your own survival.

An open-world action RPG sequel promising a map that is at least 5x as large as in the original 2014 game by the same name. Originally slated for 2017, development has been troubled, with the original dev already having gone on to develop a separate game, The Surge (and The Surge 2), considered the spiritual successor to the first. The publisher of the original game took over development of this sequel; creating a new development company with the opening of two new European studio locations to complete the game.

Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass
Vin Diesel apparently doesn't just star in the game, but is a huge personal fan of the series, has taken an active role in its development, and is actually reporting bugs in alpha testing. The voice actress behind Disney's Moana character will play his daughter.

PC exclusive, and an Epic exclusive. Survival crafting game set in the Fourth Age of Middle-Earth. One is on a quest to reclaim the lost riches of Moria, perhaps most importantly Mithril, by Gimli's command.

Release Date: TBA (prob not 2023)
I don't think there has been a more influential game on the industry in the last 12 years than Dark Souls. The studio said it was only 40%-50% complete several months ago, so it probably won't be out in 2023, but here's a look. Bit of a language barrier on promotional material so far.
