oh dale sopi is at powerhouse with LaRue and bader and all them? might buy into the hype now

Rama is only 22 and he will continue to improve, he has a new multi fight deal with wsof...I expect them to add some free agents like, Phil de fries, Carmelo marrero, kraniotakes, seumanutafa? God knows who!

Bellator??? I understand him moving to the UFC if wsof doesn't add talent but belaltor's hw division to be honest is not that deep

It's certainly much deeper than WSOF division, he's only 22 and a few years in Bellator certainly wouldn't hurt. Knowing Zuffa they probably wouldn't build him up properly, and ruin him as a fighter. Building fighters seems to be a really difficult concept for Zuffa to grasp.

I'm not saying that wsof hw division is better than bellator, but he has a multi fight deal with wsof and is the top dog right now, for them they can add some free agents and let him develop more there, he has to full fill his deal before leaving either for bellator or zuffa

josh burkman, Arlovski, karakahnyan, and many others disagree ^^

And? What's your point?

Burkman and arlovski were veterans that always stated they wanted to go to the UFC!

Karakhanyan is a solid fighter a bit overrated IMO, that got his ass handed by Glenn so no need to pay good money to a solid but not dominant fighter, by a company with only 14 events....plus he was a free agent

Rama is a 22 year old man that can develop along a newer company like wsof until he moves the the UFC!

georgi had a fight left but was released to go to bellator burkman had just signed an extension then was released to fight lombard, how does that make ramas situation any different ? cause he's younger and not screaming to be released? he wont finish his deal before getting the call up. he might not even fight for them again after this win, nothing left ufc needs heavys

Burkman was let go, arlovski was a restricted fa they refused to match UFC offer or couldn't and georgi's deal was done! 3 fight deal, vs Lowe vs Palmer vs Glenn ....if he was the champ the deal extends but no need he was mauled by Glenn ...

Rama will move to the UFC eventually I don't see him going to bellator, and I think if he defends the title a few times he will stay a bit like marlon moraes has done

James mulheron 6-0 as a pro, 4-0 as an amateur

He's beaten the best the UK has to offer but that's not saying much. He's a stocky, rough-around-the-edges brawler like Neil Wain, as long as he keeps winning Bellator or the UFC will give him a shot but as it stands, I don't see him doing very well if he makes the step up.

Rama could be a good move even for UFC, he's young and talented and should be build up slowly.

Hell he has even the greek nationality so would be easy to use him in events staged in the European Union.

So, whats Rama's nationality?

I thought he was Albanian?

But the first name sounds Brazilian. I used to work with an Albanian bouncer who's name was similar though, Rakutimho Mujo. So I just assumed he was Albanian? Where does the Greek heritage come in?

Right, from watching the Mehmen fight....Mehmen is a natural 205lb'er who has moved up recently, and Rama was SMALL compared to him. Seriously, this kid could make 205lbs and be a big, athletic LHW.

At HW, I genuinely feel if he went to the UFC, he'd be giving up such a size advantage. Even guys like Viktor Pesta and Anthony Hamilton (who's already KO'd him), could overpower him. I think he should consider cutting to LHW, but he's a legit prospect, agreed!

Smealinho “The Prince” Rama was born and raised in Greece before immigrating to Canada as a teenager.
Rama has his parents (Greece mother and Albanian father), a younger sister, several training partners and three coaches in his corner. But for Rama Vlad Goldenstein is a person who has made the biggest impact on his career.
