Why not I guess, not like there's many options for ONE's HW division. Would be a huge win for Parry but way too soon, IMO. Vera probably finishes him.

Im with you, hoping for the exact same thing. I think Huggy bear will benefit from it being in a ring rather than a cage tho.

Why?

The winner of this tourney is big-leagues material and Huggy Bear is NEVER fighting in a big league promotion weighing over 300lbs. And showing no sign of shedding the extra weight. At least Yosef is huge, but on point weight-wise, if he wins, he's a beastly prospect to sign for the UFC.

MY FUCKING GOD.

I;m not exaggerating, these are the two most unexpected results I've ever been presented with, outside of major HW fights in big promotions. Where do you start...

Rodrigues is a tank but got finished by a fucking also-ran MW a few fights back. UNDER-T - Did you see the fight? What happened?

Oli is the most disappointing HW I'd seen in the UFC for a long time. Strongman who wasn't strong enough to control ANYONE. Moved to 205 and got blasted by Brett McDermott?! I guess his natural athleticism kept him clear of Huggy Bear, again, UNDER T - did you see it and what happened?

If Barnett is serious about this sport, he needs to really shed 50lbs and fight at a more manageable weight. I suspect he won't. He's so young too, he's wasting his career by carrying more than 80lbs of flab. It's mental. He's fucking 5ft 9in tall, same height as me - he could feasibly be a bloody MW. Even a WW. But he's a SHW. It's bizarre, given his natural talent.

So fucking frustrated abouy Yosef's loss - completely dominated that Rodrigues chubby guy, and outta nowhere suddenly losses. OH MAN. Only positive is maybe now UFC can sign Yosef.
 
Crazy results at IGF, I'm stunned. I think now Ishii is going to fight the winner of this tournament so he can try and have the belt again. He beat Will Penn by rear naked choke.

What the fu... did I just stumble on an alternate dimension? Oli Thompson is fighting Fernando Rodrigues in the finals? Jeez. Rodrigues will probably take the tournament I guess, and if Oli takes it, it will be even weirder.

I guess Rodrigues will move up into my profiles list again and Yosef will drop down a few notches. So many young HW's keep getting derailed, and it sucks.
 
I can't believe there were actually people who actually thought Beast Boy was a serious prospect to look out for and even possibly a future contender. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Won't take this guy seriously until he drops 75-100 lbs at least.
