Unlicensed “Security Guard” Shoots and Kills a Man at protests In Denver

I was thinking the same thing. It could also be a pistol with a threaded barrel for a surpressor that isn’t on the weapon, with a light attached to the pic rail.

Good timing, looks like it actually got the slide moving mid-recoil.

This seems to be a picture of the shooting.

Any video of this?
Very confusing OP

Can you legally shoot someone for macing you? Genuinely curious.

I live in a state with laws that are very friendly to gun owners but I don't know about that. Seems like it'll be hard to justify that in court, especially given the context. Maybe if like a group of three ran up and maced you in a mugging or something I could see it working out.

We recently had a BLM protest in our town. The organizer of the protest is on video pepper spraying multiple counter protesters. No one shot her dead.

I think this comes down to does the shooter rightfully fear for his safety/life. IDK, seems a bit of a hard sell.

I mean in the Atlanta shooting a few months back, the consensus here said a cop was justified lighting up a dude in the back who had shot and missed with an empty taser running away from them, so I'm curious to see how this one plays out lol.

Taser is a huge difference. The only issue there is if the cops knew it was unloaded and still dumped on him.

Not sure the Antifa side wants this to be the standard of Self Defense. Might be a whole lot of dead protesters if this type of self defense is found justifiable.

That was a cop tho, and this was just a citizen

“professional security guard” laws are really strange and I don’t understand where they fall tho

It was dark, and the taser gave out a flash and a bang. Cop probably thought it was a gun
