Man shot, killed during dual protests in Denver; suspect in custody

DENVER -- A man was shot and killed near the Denver Art Museum Saturday afternoon. A suspect is in custody, police said. A second person was initially arrested, but police later determined that second person was not affiliated with the shooting.

Two groups -- a pro-police and an anti-police crowd -- were protesting nearby at Civic Center Park, but it's not known at this time if the shooting is related to either rally.

Why didn't Trump stop this from happening? Why didn't this stop when he condemned the radical violent left? He gave five speeches about stopping this from happening. It should have stopped this from being a possibility. He stood up to them.

You have a mental illness and I hope you receive treatment for it before you or someone else gets hurt.

Trailing the victim
Person can be heard saying "That's one less white fucking supremacist. Fuck yeah! Right in the dome! Fuck yeah!"
This is another murder by the terrorist organization that is an idea. I mean Antifa.

Can't even handle pepper spray, unlike the Kenosha kid.

The shooter was actually a security guard hired by the local news channel covering the protests.

A mod should change the misleading thread title, and OP should wait next time before spreading BS.

Sauce?

I did find it hard to believe that antifa would have such a good grip on their gun, the rmr on the pistol didn't seem like them either

Seems quite possible that the guy was an over-zealous guard.

Also seems like he had drawn on the guy before he even used his mace. If that's the case then it's just a straight-up killing, from what it looks like.

From the small bits we've seen, this looks like homicide, not self defense.
