Last thread I was in this came up in the conversation:
And made me think, what are some other cool or strange but unique things that have happened in mma? Of course the most obvious example is this:
I also enjoy this immensely , and is part of the reason why Ebersole is one of my favourite guys.
He attempted this a few times aferwards in his career but only once managed to knock somebody out with it. But once is more than enough.
Very sad he is retired now though. But true to his HAIRROW, after a 70 fight career he retired after his very FIRST TKO/KO loss which in truth wasn't even a typical TKO but was due to a knee injury so I'd still say his HAIRROW was pretty accurate. For those that don't know wtf a HAIRROW is its this:
Which basically is taunting his opponents for the fact that he has never been defeated by TKO or KO and is pointing to his chin to let them know where to try. See for yourself: http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Brian-Ebersole-3015
(however Lombard did finish him via submission due to punches, so that's pretty close)
Sorry for getting off topic about Ebersole, you can tell I really like the guy and he deserves the attention in a thread like this anyways.
So, what are some other cool and unique moves used in the cage? GIFs are encouraged.
