i haven't talked to many people that have seen it but its so damn funny

The first one was the best IMO.

3 sucked in many ways, but is still a guilty pleasure for me.
Blade was amazing.

Crystal Method club massacre! So badass.

"I'm gonna be a God ... I'm gonna be a naughty vampire GOD!!!"

I love "House Of The Devil", but slow burn horror is a tough bitch to master. I hate "Halloween" FFS. I can see why some may not have been too impressed with HOTD.

For a second there I thought you were saying you love House of the Dead.

Che with Benicio Del Toro and The Baader Meinhoff Complex are very underrated. Also, Motorcycle Diaries.

There are a number of good German movies that most people haven't seen.

Most people haven't even seen Downfall, just the YouTube parodies.

"Fear X" is underrated. Or just didn't get seen by a wider audience. @NightwingBJJ

One of my favorite movies of all time is Bang Rajan. It is highly underrated. It's subtitled (from Thai), but is also action packed. I highly recommend it. One of the ten best films this century. Easily.

Might be a good idea to avoid trailers since they might spoil lots of the plot.

Baader Meinhoff is good fun. Downfall is ... above and beyond. Movies don't get much better.

In b4 this thread turns into a discussion about M Night Shammalon movies.

The last air bender was great. Bastards never continued. The story was great in cartoon. I thought he dud great though the protagonist namen is Ang not Ung lol

Haha, yeah dude from a visual standpoint I get it but aside from that I don't get why it is constantly praised for being so great.

I was very underwhelmed by John Wick too. The premise was so cliche (they killed my dog and stole my car...now they're going to pay!). They did nothing to make you care about John Wick or his wife.....so he loved her. Okay, what was so special about her that she was able to pull him out of that world of assassins? He kept playing those videos of her on the phone and I was just rolling my eyes. The cheese factor was just too much.

I did find it interesting, though, that that underworld uses those gold coins as a special form of currency. I would like to see them explore that monetary system a bit more, which I'm sure they'll do in the sequel.

I did find some of the casting in the movie to be surprising. The main actor from the Swedish "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" films, Theon Greyjoy from Game of thrones, and Mayhem from All State Insurance. Ha.

I know I'm going to get flack but here it is. Overrated.

Whoa buddy, you better slow your roll. That movie had a unique premise, lots of memorable sequences, gruesome scene, and the MOTHERFUCKER of all plot twists. I watched Spike Lee's version and it was just a sad imitation. Can't hold a candle to the original.

Speaking of Asian cinema, any of you guys check out "The Raid" and its sequel "The Raid: Redemption"?
