Underrated Buddy Pairings in Movies

I am re-watching the movie Running Scared starring Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines (1986 yeah I'm old, get off my lawn!) and they have great chemistry. I don't believe they ever work together again in a movie, which is too bad. What are some other underrated buddy cop or other type films pairings?

Well i immediately thought of Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder but they’re not really underrated so I guess I’d go with John Candy and Steve Martin from Planes Trains and Automobiles.

Michael Pena and Jake G.’s dynamic was easily the best aspect of End of Watch. Two strong performances and both guys were very convincing as best friends.

Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder on See No Evil, Hear No Evil; they witness a murder but Pryor is blind and Wilder is deaf, this is one of the funniest movies i've ever seen

Id like Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell to team up for an r rated comedy.

Ryan Phillipe and Benicio del Toro in The Way of the Gun are criminally underrated if you'll forgive the pun. The final gun battle is also one of the most realistic in movie history. Full of reloads and inconvenience.
