Movies UNCHARTED Starring Tom Holland (First Trailer Released)

I think it is a prequel, he’s meeting Sully for the first time and it sounds like he’s getting the opportunity to go on a real treasure hunt. People are freaking out about how they’re using a set piece from Uncharted 3 but I’m sure it’s just some fan service as they aren’t going to be following the story that closely.

I get people being upset but I’m just gonna with it because like I said, it looks fun if nothing else.

Didn’t know you were such an Uncharted fan lol.

Naughty Dog makes great games. Their Uncharted/TLOU run is on par with prime Bioware with KOTR, Jade Empire and ME2. Only Rockstar was better - still is when they actually drop something - as a modern developer.

I always tell people who don't really play games that the Uncharted games are better than movies. I think the third game is the weakest of the series and it's still exceptional.

Yeah huge fan of their catalog. Even my girlfriend has loved watching my play through TLOU/2.

Fourth is my favorite. Then 2, 1, 3.

Yeah, my lady at the time started watching me play those Uncharted games and really got into em. I say three is my least favorite mainly due to the villain and the setting at the end. The beginning of the second game has so many stellar moments. Overall, just a great series.

If this is supposed to be treated as a prequel to the games hence why both Nathan and Sully are younger, that could work though Holland still doesn't feel right for the part of Drake.

Played the hell out of Uncharted a decade ago (right about when they announced the movie).
Both main actors are wrong for the role. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Pretty sure they want to make this the new Indiana Jones for this generation. Both Holland and Marky Mark have the age to carry this franchise into the next 10-15 years or so

I won't comment on the casting choice for the last of us.

Tom Holland is too petite. Mark Wahlberg is not old enough. I don't really care about age that much. These guys just have zero resemblance to the original characters. Horrible casting but I understand they wanted to go for big names to garner some attention.

I went in wanting to not like this movie for casting reasons. Walked out satisfied, a fun action movie that did alot of good things, Holland did a good job, Wahlberg didn't bother me as much as I thought he would. Its not a great movie but its fun.

Couldve cut 15 minutes off and the movie would have been fine and much faster paced, it had some super solid tips of the hat to the games. It sets up the world and obviously a sequel.
