Great matches all around. Surprised to see how Denny got tooled up by Reis that bad. Didn't think it would go 24-2.

That calf slicer Rader got on Samuel looked painful as hell!

Yeah, I watched it with some guys from the gym I go to and everyone was cringing during both calf slicers. It was just nasty. Braga not tapping was amazing.

Also, I agree with Kenny. Whoever said Celsinho didn't look impressive is wrong. He had some nice guillotine takedowns and his pressure looked awesome. But, Rader was impressive as well.

One thing I didn't like about this tournament was the shear amount of butt scouting. I think there should be some kind of attempted take down, grip or hook before they were allowed to butt scout.

I especially didn't like seeing Ryan Hall sitting down immediately (although it disgusted me to see that he lost when he was the aggressor in most of the match).

Butt scooting is my biggest turnoff to watching Nogi grappling. Its a completely unrealistic "sport" move. If some dude comes at you in an alley are you gonna flop down on your butt and look up at him? This is so prevalent in submission grappling and people wonder why so many high level grapplers have been destroyed in MMA over the years...
