Sick 16-man pro no-gi grappling tournament being held in NYC on Saturday, February 25th featuring some of the world's top lightweights with a $10,000 cash prize going to the winner. Below is the competitor's list:

Chris Brennan
Reilly BodyComb
Renan Borges
Samuel Braga
Bruno Frazatto
Bruno Malfacine
Cobrinha
Ryan Hall
Gianni Grippo
JT Torres
Mark Ramos
Justin Rader
Ramon Flores
Wilson Reis
Denny Prokopos
Celso Venicius

What are your predictions!?

Wow, beautiful, can't wait for it. I'm going with Cobrinha for the win!

Meh, I can take all of them!

And by that I mean I will get destroyed in seconds against any of those guys. Looks like a tough line up man. I wish I could watch it.

Glad to see Reis back with the big dogs.

My favorites are Torres, Frazzato, Cobrinha, Reis and Hall.

And they better have a new commentator.

Interesting collection. My main thing I'd find interesting is seeing Malfacine in with some of the bigger guys. I mean, it was close, but he beat Frazzato, and he fights (normally, anyhow) two weight classes below him. Would be interested in Malfacine - Hall, particularly. Also be interesting to see how Gianni does, but with a lineup like that, he's in for a tough run. @_@

Also haven't seen Celsinho ever fight nogi, so that'll be interesting.

I've gotta go with Cobrinha or JT. JT is on the bigger end of the division and has shown he can finish anyone given the opportunity, and Cobrinha is Cobrinha. But it'll be awesome to watch. Looking forward to it already!

Edit: I say interesting way too much. @_@

Wow. Man I don't even know. It's hard to think Cobrinha won't be in the finals. Anything else seems like a toss up.

Braga, Frazzato, Hall, Rader, Torres, Reis, and Malfacine all seem like strong candidates to be in the final four at least.

Bodycomb is a dark horse. So is Grippo.

Will you be able to see this live? or do you have to wait?

Tickets are kind of pricey I think it was 125 I saw on the FB page.Hope there is cheaper options or a stream

WAR COBRINHA!

What a great lineup. Please post a link to a live stream if there will be one (provided that it's legal and everything).

JT by being bigger/stronger than most of the guys IIRC, in addition to having serious skill - or Cobrinha.

I wish Cooper and Glover had gotten invites. They certainly belong there more than some of the others on that list. Also, obviously Rafa.

I know for a fact Glover (they mentioned it on FB) did get an invite, but he couldn't make it. Cooper probably did as well, but the list isn't complete. They will announce the next competitor once their FB page gets 400 likes I think (its at like 350something now.)

EDIT_

Wait, what's there facebook page?

Oh man. I hope it's Cooper. I'd like to see him fight people that actually challenge him. Even though it is fun to watch him screw around in GQ advanced divisions.
