Only a handful would be considered quality shows today as you pointed Hill Street Blues and add to that the Fugitive, Twilight Zone ,Twin Peaks,Oz, NYPD Blue and the X-files

St. Elsewhere is a top 20 all time drama.

I just discovered a movie for the first time ever last night that I had no idea even existed. I'd never ever heard of it before. So I watched it and from beginning to end I freaking loved it!

I LOVED this movie. Seeing it was like finally being able to take a breath of fresh air. Almost all of the modern movies in Hollywood have become so sterile and desensitizing that a simple little picture like this was enough to really get me excited again. The movie was fantastic.
