Social UFO witnesses stories are coming out and piling up

Even if alien life has managed the impossible
it's only impossible because of the very limited scope of man kind's imagination.
everything we know about the universe is from the human mind, I don't think most of us can even contemplate what we might consider the 'mind' of an alternate life form elsewhere in the universe

People are surprisingly narrow-minded. We've barely been able to reach the moon (allegedly) but somehow people think humans know everything about the universe and its' underlying mechanisms. Please. If we knew how things worked we wouldn't be stuck on this rock.

"If an object ever did reach the speed of light, its mass would become infinite. And as a result, the energy required to move the object would also become infinite: an impossibility".

My point is... ok let's play devil's advocate and say yes, the aliens could travel the speed of light...

It's the TIME factor that would be the problem (time it would take to get here), due to the incomparable vastness of the Universe.

Now, if you're saying the aliens solved that problem by actually going multiple times the speed of light ala star trek, well then...

:)

Hell, even in Star Trek where they're whipping around multiple multiple times the speed of light, taking weeks and months, that's all within just our own galaxy.

What about worm holes

try and think outside of human constraints, speed, light, time, distance, these are words mankind has created for things. That's not to say they don't exist, but what if these things are to another being what dust or sand are to us. what if another existence is so mighty and advanced that our primitive minds can never, have never and will never, be able to contemplate their actual being

I think we need to accept how diminutive we are before we can consider being open to the possibilities or extent of the universe

too many people (and I mean supremely educated scholars etc, I'm not putting down anyone here) speak very matter-of-factly about all of this and then label it as science and say it can't be argued. and why can't you argue it? because it's science, duh

Lol .ok.

I get the same satisfaction when debating religious folk. I've stopped doing that.

I'm not going to give you a shred of evidence, facts to counter the staggering hypocrisy... but just believe.... have faith....

Ooooookkkl <45>

I'm not trying to persuade you one way or another, I'm open to anything, I'm just saying what if

do you not realise you are the same as those that say just have faith when you say just don't have faith

no one has the answers, no one has a clue, so enjoy the ride. people can talk without debating, most people don't unfortunately

It looks like in the recent year or two , topics related to UFOs are becoming more and more present in the media.
Is there a conclusion to be made out of that ?
Few day ago I've discovered a chanell on youtube where there are daily updates on those cases happened in the 50s, 60s , but also after that.
So in the meantime, very likely new cases have happened , and we can just imagine what data is still classified as not to be released to public ?

Hilarious that the same people who insist there is no God, also insist there must be aliens. Lol.
And sherdog mods are instructed to send pretty much any conspiracy thread to the great beyond, but UFO threads remain.

Hmmmmm.

Same here really. If people want to believe in aliens buzzing around the earth, by all means.

Its just friendly chit chat for me.

Cheers

It is a fact that there are many things we don't know, and still won't know by the time both you and I are passed. And while it's true that facts do matter, when we go down the rabbit hole far enough our interpretation of science itself starts to break down. So naturally, people will turn to the supernatural or spiritually (in a more philosophical way).

There's nothing wrong with that. You don't seem to realize your own hubris

Very reasonable post.

Metallic Orbs over Middel Eest... No man-made explanations.

In a day and age where everyone and their grandma has a phone glued to their hands, they just so happen to not have their phones when they see a UFO.........

Even if alien life has managed the impossible of generating the infinite energy required that would propel their spacecraft at the speed of light ...

Assuming they lived at the nearest star system from us, it would take them 4.35 years to get here.

It would take them 100,000 years to cross our own galaxy.

If they were from another galaxy, we're into the millions of years to get here.

I don't think so. <45>

Space is a fabric that can be manipulated, as we see from gravitational lensing when large masses such as planets bend spacetime. Theoretically it is possible to bend and warp space, and if you have the ability control gravity and harness enough power, you could pull space closer to you, allowing you to traverse massive distances without really even moving. You don't need to travel the speed of light to traverse galaxies, that's not how it's done.

you think 'they' are using some method of teleportation through space ?
any sources about that ?

it doesnt seem to be a theory or conspiracy, people are talking about it all around , news reporting it , military releasing videos, cmon, there are some history related events too : )
check this out :

Former Navy fighter pilot Lt. Ryan Graves says a whistleblower's claim that the U.S. government is withholding information about "non-human origin" spacecraft is "believable" and must be investigated by Congress. Graves was the first active duty pilot to testify before Congress about his squadron's experience with unidentified craft, and he also founded Americans for Safe Aerospace to encourage other pilots to come forward.
