There's no way to really monetise what they're doing. If views drop off Fight Network will drop them completely and they'll probably just stop doing it

Yeah, the multiple video clips with one for for each fight is annoying. I think they're still uploading the last three videos for the Belfast card. Best one can do is go to their YouTube page and click Play All in the video upload page and maybe it would play them back to back. I'd rather have each card as one video. Maybe they'll upload each one as a single video clip shortly.

It's well produced. I'm an even bigger fan of MMA Meltdown than you are and I like a lot of Fight Network content including 5 Rounds and other segments.

I think MMA Meltdown is pretty pointless in its current format but I still watch it. I actually like their other content and watch all of it. By buried I mean other Fight Network content is getting buried on their channel between the 30+ Bookie Beatdown videos they just spammed my sub box with.

For some reason I am entertained by Gabriel Morency and Gamb Lou and the way they talk about fights. You can tell Gabriel is such a degenerate.

Also, regarding Bookie Beatdown, don't think that I didn't notice that one of the best aspects of the show has been removed now. There is no more fight highlights from the UFC and various other promotions shown while they are talking about matchups. They just show the two guys sitting at the desk talking and cut to a graphic of the stats once in a while. Maybe they don't have permission to show footage any more now that it's not on tv or the editor doesn't feel like adding highlights from various promotions now that's it's an online only show. I used to find that useful especially when they were talking about fighters making their UFC debuts or lesser known fighters. Bummer.

Anyone else going to have like 90% of their bankroll committed this weekend between two UFCs, Bellator, Invicta, Ward/Kovalev and whatever other minor cards? #degenproblems

It's great having ~40 fights to bet as I'm being way more patient than normal waiting for line movement. I hope to have at least 50% of my BR on the line by the end but right now I am stalled at 20%. The lines are pretty well set on every card imo.

That's too bad, I also enjoyed that part of the show. Honestly I never would have even watched it if you hadn't pointed that out multiple times in other threads. That said I think those 2 guys are better cappers (if admittedly green) than Zane and Connor on Vivisection, which I also watch. Zane has great info on ufc new comers, And Connor has great technical info. But you can tell they haven't grasped the all important concept of "value" yet. The Rizin show they did last year was far and away their best show, they had a lot of good picks there. In case anyone didn't watch it last year, I recommend viewing it for this year's new year's eve cards.

He is the more active striker and might be able to use his athleticism to avoid tds. The fight feels like a split Dec.

Johns has been out for 16 months, had a knee injury in his last fight vs gutierezz, has a history of split dec.

While kwak has fought 3 times since johns has been out, once against a decent ufc vet and has looked good in 5 round fights. 3 of his 4 last wins have been by Dec with the one stoppage coming in the 3rd.

I like +425, with a stab at round at rd3 +1300 or higher. Nothing huge.

Couple things i'm thinking about the stevie ray vs Ross fight.

Ross, i believe, has lost his last 3 fights versus southpaws though he should've beat diego.

Also I think ross clinches/ wrestles more with Ray as he's on his first two-fight losing streak ever.

They've both lost to Curt Warburton though Ray beat him twice.

This might be part of why they're off TV. Maybe the UFC makes them pay for those rights.

Wouldnt say hes not a finisher. He finished Shamil and almost had Rosholt out in r3. Do agree tho that Volkov is tough and over likely hits.

The Shamil finish is weak imo, he was never really hurt, Tim was bouncing most of his punches off elbows
