He has a safe stand up style, fights safe, weak overhand, spinning backfists, then trys to take you down, running kick, you just have to take away his tools, I shut down Dias, he didn't get to clinch me.

I can't figure out if this "love my bitches" things is just a shtick or if he is for real.... either way he is the man - so funny.
Kind of think its for real lol even on the TUF Japan show he was like this. They focused a lot of the show on showing the guys families and backgrounds etc. and when it was time to profile Ishihara it was just him at the club lol

I haven't given much thought to him, I'm going to perform well, everybody is dangerous, he is human, people take life to serious, I don't watch the sport, I just show up to perform

Some footage of Tybura hitting mitts, stuffing takedowns

Things were stressful financially, was hard to pay the bills, so I'm happy to be in the UFC, everything will be new and exciting, everyone knew I won that fight (Cedeno), TUF wouldn't take me because of my age, I kept calling the UFC, asking to take short notice fights, got a full camp this time (4 weeks), always in the gym, Teymur is only 4-1, he'll have alot of trouble dealing with me, training at the UFC BJ Penn gym in Hawaii, was supposed to be 100% vacation, but I made it work, I couldn't eat the good food, he won't be able to deal with my reach, strength until he gives me what I need

In case anyone can translate

I think Steele is being massively underrated, and has a fantastic price vs Mcgee. I understand the altitude and all, but Steele's fight with Roberts was nuts and he held up fine cardio wise (Can make the case that he won) Moreover Mcgee looked eh vs Ponz before being Ko'ed, and terrible imo against Alexandre. I really see value in the line, and won't be flip flopping off of that haha.

I don't watch tape, don't have gameplan, I'm mentally strong, I've always had pressure, cameras and jitters don't affect me, we'll see, I hop around, created a team, not alot of HWs around here, I didn't have a full camp, 4 weeks, was on vacation, I feel confident, Duke Rofus is going to help me the last week of camp, watch tape with me, I'm there to help Tyron, prepared for 3 rounds, it's a great match up for me, I'll finish this fight

am i the only one on novelli? i'm picking him outright. i already hit the opener and was happy about it.. obviously in hindsight i should've waited cause the price has improved..

we're talking size edge, grappling edge, possible cardio edge.. and he's the dog..

i don't care that he's 37, he doesn't have fight miles on him

I fade anyone who says they don't watch tape on their opponent unless it's women's MMA or heavyweights

I imposed my will on Miranda, it will be a mistake if he doesn't try to take it to the ground, because of my diet, I'm stronger, USADA is working, He'll want to strike until I hit him, I have better TDD then guys he fought, I have to keep him off me

I just switched to him... playing him for a unit at +150 effective. I think you're right, he'll hang in the striking, and will have a lot of success if it hits the ground.

His chin and Teymur's hands scare me, though, I could see him getting KOed. But the grappling edge makes up for it.

no doubt. it's definitely a close fight. could go either way. i made a ton on teymur last fight, i know what he's about... i just think novelli's the right side at evens, let alone +odds

this one caught my eye from the early weigh-ins.. idk if i'd think much of it if not for the look on his face... maybe it's nothing.. reserving judgement for now

I was too relaxed my last fight, and I didn't do enough. Gave away a round. Pesta and me are more even. This is my camp for this fight (interview before UFC 200) and a new club for me as well. I got a new coach, and have three coaches now. Something about that he had met Pesta before but have evolved much since then (don't know if they have fought somewhere before). I have two stripes on my brown belt, and my new BJJ coach with a black belt has recognized my BJJ talent. Im dreaming about that black belt, and also trained for a BJJ tourney while in camp for this fight, but my coaches told me to focus only on the UFC matchup with Pesta. Fought some hard sparring today, sparring with Daniel Omelianczuk and also have the opportunities to spar with other fighters in the new gym I haven't sparred with before.

Second hand translation from me after polish girlfriend saw the interview. Hope that will help people a little.

You can argue that Steele has some value, but his cardio didn't held up fine vs. Roberts. He was TIRED in the 3rd. I don't think the fight goes to the third round, but if it does it's all McGee with the cardio advantage in general but also add the elevation cardio advantage. You can't write off McGee just yet. He's a good all-around fighter, and now he has the opportunity to prove himself in his hometown with all his family and friends around him. Too many factors for me too even consider Steele.

Only going by above pic but is Kawa looking as good? Doesnt look it to me but could just be the pic.
