krylov is a 1 round fighter.

That is why krylov looks good in r1, but do get the other concerns mentioned can't go heavy or trust that guy.

Ultimately, I think he wins by dec. But not touching that line. Between how hard he hits and how live of a dog Gunnar could be, +220 isn't that enticing

Yeah that was my concern tumenov is just so relentless lately, happy to eat a shot even just to set up his brutal hand power, shame about the lines but in play maybe more fun.

Tumenov one of the best boxers in the sport imo, and can kick fuckers in the head too. He should beat the shit out of Gunnar on the feet but Gunnar's a tough guy to read, he's got some sneaky shots that he can land and if he does somehow get this fight to the ground then Einstein ain't gonna be feeling so smart on the mat.

That being said I like tumenov to piece Gunnar up on the feet and stay away from the td's. Still a pretty risky fight overall. I want to play Tumenov but it's tough at this price. Should've laid a small bet on him at -170, would've felt comfortable with that type of play. now not so much.

Jim - what do you see in Krylov? I am underwhelmed by him tbh. Not saying I want to fade him but he is not someone I am looking to bet as a favourite for sure.
I like the fact that he is a finisher and can stop an opponent by punch, kick or choking them out. He's much younger and has way more upside than his opponent Barroso in my opinion. He also looks better physically every time I see him. Yes, he got KOed by Soa and subbed by OSP but those guys are (or were in Soa's case) a level above while Barroso goes the distance with guys like Elvis Mutapcic.

How the hell did Barroso lose to Stringer? Don't remember that fight at all, but Barroso is like the slightly better Brazilian version of Stringer.

Whats funny is, undersized and short notice Mutapcic has a good case for being Barroso's best win lol. Definitely either him or Jimmo.

it was a close & ugly fight. could've gone either way. in fact i think i scored it for barroso? i had stringer as a small dog and i wasn't happy going to scorecards, IIRC (don't quote me on the feeling, tho.. the bet yes, the feeling no. haven't bothered to rewatch fight cause it'll put me to sleep)

@EzFlyer

3 units on Barroso?!

Yea. A rare misstep on Mma stock trading! (I bet the openera a couple times expecting line to drop)

I do lean him, tho. I think if he survives rd1, he's the favorite.

Really not liking this card for betting, personally. I waited too long on Einstein now he's getting to the point where i don't even know if I want to bet him closing in on -200. I'm a degenerate so will still probably bet several fights but man, Bigfoot to take Struve down and beat the shit out of him with GnP early? I guess but his chin is just so fucking bad, it's hw's they almost all pretty unpredictably bad. Wade wrassle fuck Rustam? Maybe but not enough of a dog for me to take a stab atm. Reza over Cabral could be a potential play, kind of like that, but just meh for me overall.

Maybe play Einstein and Reza. AA might be worth a stab too. Feels like I'm reaching a bit with a lot of these though. Much more looking forward to the 198 card.
I dont think Wade can wrestlefuck Rustam. Rustam seems like he's physically stronger than Wade. He'll probably gonna defend the shot and lands on top more often than not. If im going to take Wade, I'd take the Wade +3.5 line.
Mad Dog is a decent play. Cabral probably gonna take the 1st round, Mad Dog will get the 3rd with better cardio. He can also take the 2nd as Cabral tends to slow down after r1. Fight will probably go the distance.
I think Clark-KK Over2.5, Cedenblad, Randamie, Khabilov will hit as heavy favorites.

Wasn't Mutapcic a late replacement fill in against Barroso?

rewatching mad dog/marcello and that one was pretty close, marcello actually outlanding reza 107-77 in significant strikes and marcello is propably one of the worst strikers ever to compete in the octagon.

cabral is just a better version of marcello, younger with better striking, better wrestling and propably a better ground game for mma.

mad dog is always game with better cardio so the line is set correctly, think I will propably end up with a small bet on my hometown boy mad dog.

Yeah that Marcello fight, even if it was 4 years ago, is the reason I can't take Reza.

I think this is the first time I've seen so many favorites not be the more active wrestler.

Underdogs who go for more takedowns:
Silva
Nelson
Barroso
Clark
Wade
Madadi
Seery
Waters
Sasaki

I think Wade is a live dog... had a full camp compared to Khabilov (was supposed to fight Magomedov), more active wrestler, more active striker, younger, taller and on a 5+ fight win streak.

Tuck -150
Emmett +110

Lol. Right in no man's land for me. No bet atm.

Sleeping in my own bed at home, the owners of ATT and Blackzilians don't like each other, but I'm good with Silva, I get a heart check up every 3 months, at some point they will have to fix it, it's the mental I would doubt my gas, when to go hard, this training camp, I was able to trust my body, coach wanted aggression, I didn't have focus against Rosholt, I couldn't be happier now, I feel comfortable, really good at keeping focus, I'm super confident about this fight, I know my potential, I need to put the pressure on Silva, I need to be smart, use my distance, the crowd will be behind me, I believe I have everything to put him out in the first round
