Confidence increase Chris and Klose. Both Combat Press guys picked Bojan and one of them picked Powell.

Fair enough if Bojan wins he wins. But from everything that is available there is no way on earth you would pick Bojan.
 
The more I think about it is there any reason to assume mendes wins from saenz? Saenz can pretty much dictate where the fight goes. In order for mendes to win he has to take it to the mat which to me seems only possible if saenz wants it to. Striking wise I'm sure he's made progress in his time off but the guy JUST started striking.

Why is he getting top 15 opponents when he has basically no ufc wins or experience other than getting starched by garbrandt in his debut?

No bet. Mendes needs to get a D1 wrestler to the ground to even have a chance of winning this fight. He's been doing competitive BJJ his whole life, there's no chance his striking is improved enough in a year to outstrike anyone. He's very unathletic, slow and stiff on the feet. Saenz dec unless he goofs and tries to wrestle Mendes.

Watched this before. So many red flags, doesn't seem confident at all.
 
This is a pick 'em now. I can't be arsed to watch tape now (had trouble finding tape of Held's Bellator fights) but got a feeling im missing out on Lauzon here.

Lauzon should win the striking and clinch and at the least negate Held's grappling. It's hard to trust Lauzon to show up though.

Guess I shoulda waited on putting Martin in my parlays as his line will probably get better with so many "touts" picking White straight up. I am just not seeing it. If Martin is healthy, which I beleive he is from recent interviews, etc. ( I know fighters aren't going to say they aren't healthy, however he seems geniuinly upbeat in every interview), I don't think White has much for him. Martin should have a big size, strength and power advantage and when he isn't gassed he has caused problems for everyone he has fought, all of which are better than White.
 
Held and Lauzon are going to be playing a game of twister on the ground that ends up in a game of footsy. Good luck trusting that with Lauzon.

Lauzon is going to smash him on the feet real bad before that happens.

And Lauzon is a lot more trustworthy in every position. Held's fight IQ is complete shit. We're talking about a guy who went to elevation and threw a fucking cart wheel kick before putting ALL of his energy behind a choke

Maybe, but maybe not. Who the hell knows what type of Lauzon shows up. I personally have this fight at about 50/50. Held can be suffocating when he gets on top.
