So far it sounds like me and Brick Top are on the same guys.

loving this card for betting:

Lausa is a solid bet.
Vera should be favoured over Smasher.
How is Ben Nguyen the dog here? I favour him by a wide margin.
Seo Hee Ham should crush Taylor.
Value on Kasuya for sure.

wouldn't play either guy in the main event unless they hit like +150.

I don't like Kasuya at all. I think he is completely overmatched.

Not sure on Ham. I think that one is dog or pass (ham is a favorite on my book right now.).

Don't like Vera either.

Brick top:

Please can you edit that sig, scrolling 5 pages of your sig alone!

Kasuya overmatched? He has been one of JMMA's top prospects for a while, and finished Camacho (who was even with Neil Magny on TUF). Kasuya lost a tought debut to Hein, and he was winning before he got kicked in the groin.

Since I won the bonus, I'm in the gym 6 days a week for the last 8 weeks, not working anymore, I accepted the fight 2-3 weeks before Hooker did, timezone is different, so I went to Thailand for a couple weeks, Phuket top team, he's way too cocky, I promise I will touch him, I will stay in his face, he won't have an easy night, I'm tough as nails, will be FOTN

From what i've seen tho he seems like your normal Japanese fighter. Good ground game no stand up. Camacho was destroying him but got choked as soon as he got taken down weirdly enough. And Hein who is sooo conservative was landing pretty much whenever he threw.

I'm with you. I don't think Kasuya is bad. I was prepared to stab him at a bit steeper dog odds vs Hadzovic. But Volkanovski is a fookin beast. Its a nice step up in competition, but all footage i've watched points in the direction of him winning this.

From bts vid posted few pages back:

cliff notes:
-hated his last fight since his opponent(alers) just wanted to touch his face and run away
-amazing feeling to win the fight
-it was his first time he trash talked and ran his mouth during an actual fight, he may do it again
-retired his job as a pipe fitter, used bonus to buy house from last fight
-now trains full time 6 days in the gym (training last 8 weeks like this)
-wants to win them fights and collect bonuses
-went to thailand early to do some training (wrestling focused pu-tang camp) and mma, due to the 16hr difference between home and Australia.
-says hooker is tough and cocky but his game plan is to take him down, wants to control the ring and press the action and be in his face. He wants to make hooker look like a coward and him the animal (his exact words)

2 interesting points from the vid he went to Thailand to train early, the camp is more wrestling focused and he also mentioned he wants to take hooker down in the fight.

Can't see Knight taking Hooker down unless Hooker is pressuring and it's a reactive takedown like he got vs Alers. That guillotine worries me.

So the more I think about the main event the more I lean Brunson, but man does he seem like a sore loser after seeing his MMAJunkie interview. Has to be a slight confidence decrease.

"I don't think cardio lost me the fight with Yoel, I think it was steroids" What? You were clearly gassed, steroids or not

"I had Yoel in dominant positions and he would escape them easy" Yeah, cause hes Yoel fucking Romero, one of the best wrestlers EVER, and you're a cheerleader

Who you on Volk or Kasuya?

Who you on Volk or Kasuya?
Volk for sure just hoping for a better price, otherwise i'm going the 'value prop' route and taking him to win by decision with the hope Kasuya's Japanese toughness helps him survive for 15

My first time traveling overseas, I'm grateful, if I lose it's not the end of the world

The third episode features the fighters training, cutting weight and doing photos shoots as they get ready to fight on November 27th.

Brunson was talking more in his interview about re-matching with yoel then he was against whittaker, clearly in denial about losing that fight. I think its a bit of a red flag for brunson to ignore the cardio aspect.

I also think given how much energy and power he puts in the first round and 2nd alone, whittaker if he survives could take over the fight at least whitt has mentioned several times he has trained for a 25 minute fight.

Still liking brunson under 1.5, whittaker to take over afterwards if he survives from end of r2 or r3 early.
