Absolutely, Tyson Fury destroys Mayweather in a boxing match, therefore he's a better boxer. He's not a more skilled boxer mind you, but his size and strength more than makes up for his skill deficiency. In the end both size and skill matter in boxing, doesn't get much simpler than that.

DJ actually has one of the better records if we're going by losses since he's never been finished or beaten by a can. The only one who is ahead of him in that regard is Jones. GSP, Silva, Aldo, Fedor all have embarrassing losses. I don't think that really matters much but it should be noted.

Well, since your so willingly injecting your personal opinion, I'd counter with my own. How about GSP's routine use of: play-it-safe strategies, habitual round-ending TDs, clock management, one fight per year schedules, dodging of fan-requested superfight with Silva, and mundane career finish rate. Hence my favoring of Silva or Jones.

Of course I injected my opinion. That's the point of the thread.

GSP was boring at times, but none of the stuff you mentioned was against the rules. Eye gouging and 12-to-6 elbows are. I have Jones a solid 2nd or 3rd though. With Anderson solid 3rd or 2nd.

What I meant was that I prefer to view situations like this through an unbiased lense (as much as possible). You and I were clearly moving it to itemized opinions. Basically, your list and mine flip, you seem to favor a fighter/gentleman view, whereas I favor a who's trying to be the baddest man on the planet view.

I don't think anyone can possibly suggest it's between Werdum or MM, that's an easy choice. I'm just saying Werdum's inclusion in this list isn't on the same level as McGregor being included although you have a point about their relationship to their titles. Only difference is that Werdum just got KO'ed stiff and Conor is still the Champion, "failed to defend it" doesn't apply in his case.
