We just got done with arguably the best year for the sport.
If the UFC cuts fighters after winning because it was boring then it's no longer a sport and more entertainment like professional wrestling. That is the problem.
It's easy to follow the HW division. The same ten guys have been at the top for the past decade.
You say that, but prior to UFC 174, the last FN had 5/6 finishes on the main card, and before that, UFC 173 had 4/5 finishes on the main card. Both main events were finished. That's why I can't take these criticisms seriously. Everything said is exaggerated, and in some cases, completely wrong. It's like you are just parroting something you read on this forum.
Did you skip the Lesnar era?
It's not a hard fix. Less PPV's would equal stacked cards. When it comes to PPV's more doesn't equal better.
All the guys we started out watching are either winding down or retired. I used to root hard for the fighters I like. Got depressed when they lost. Felt great when they won. Being emotionally involved is what made the events exciting to me. Now I watch from time to time, but could give a shit who wins.
Whatever, I prefer Shooto to be honest.
So, you don't give a shit about who wins in the biggest MMA organization in the world but you care about who wins in Shooto? Just leave.
I know most of the fighters personally in Shooto and go to all the events live. Yes, I prefer it. Many cards put UFC cards to shame. Fuck off.
So, you're just delusional then? Go cry somewhere else, hipster.
Hipster? Ok...lol
I simply voiced my opinion. Didnt know one HAD to love the UFC shows in order to be a fan. I used to love them, but they are IN MY OPINION, on the downfall. When's the last time you've been to a shooto event? They rock.
