I feel the one thing he lives on is that he's actually defensively responsible both going backwards and moving forwards -- even while applying a pace. Just throws of a lot of guys not being able to find many oppenings.

MMA has always attracted far too many nerds who grew up getting their ass kicked in sports by natural athletes. It's a bitter resentment.

They love the Zahabis of the world who prove if you just do something for 20 years at the best gym possible you MAY somewhat catch up to them to get to top 10 if the stars perfectly align for you.
