UFC Star, Felice Herring to compete on American Ninja Warrior again

UFC strawweight Felice Herrig is going to give reality television another shot.

Herrig will compete on the upcoming season of "American Ninja Warrior" on NBC. This marks Herrig's second appearance on the show, however, she's undoubtedly hoping to do better this time around. Last year, Herrig lasted a little over three seconds on the obstacle course. Take a look:






Herrig, according to sources, is expected to compete later this month, which will air this summer.

The Illinois-native, who hasn't fought since her April 2015 loss to Paige VanZant, is currently targeting a return to the Octagon at UFC on FOX 20 in Chicago on July 20, according to sources, but no opponent has been finalized just yet.

A former cast member on The Ultimate Fighter season 20, Herrig is 1-1 in the UFC and 10-6 overall.

That show is a joke. Unless you are a mountain climber, you shouldn't waste you time. It doesn't involve any "Ninja" skills like balance, agility or concentration. It's all arm and upper-body strength. That dude who won it was not very impressive. He was just lanky and had the right built to get through those constant climbing obstacles.

That being said, it's sad that MMA fighters (WMMA anyway) couldn't get through the first obstacle.
