UFC signs two European Heavyweights

someone in the WW forum predicted the Capone signing, A little earlier than I would like. I could see him having a career like struve

I agree.

He's 20 and with not much real seasoning. He'd be better off coming to the UFC at like 18-1 or 17-2 and 22, 23 years old rather right now. I'd rather get a seasoned fighter with a couple of losses than a young, green, untested fighter at 20 years old.

EDIT: After reading the thread, it appears Krylov might have a loss or two not on his Sherdog profile. That makes him less of a prospect, IMO, given the quality of competition he's been facing.

yeah, they hate each other.

in sherdog, "europe" is a country.

Eh, it's not quite that simple. Actually, good part of Ukrainian citizens, especially eastern, wouldn't mind if Ukraine became a part of Russia again, at all.

Someone on previous page had mentioned that this guy may be quite significant Russian ancestry.

Shane Carwin's successor is here:

14-0
14 first round victories.
All finishes.

Been watching some of Krylov's fights in M1 on youtube.. Excited to see him fight in the UFC!

i dont see him having much success in the UFC right now, in a few years maybe. But by then he would be in Bellator.

20 year old heavyweight? That's a freaking gem, hope he makes it.

how the fuck did the ufc miss out on minakov?

this.
he'll fight in the 4-man HW tournament. If he loses - he will never get the chance to fight in the UFC (he wouldn't be considered good enough). If he wins - he'll be in the same position Eddie Alvarez is now.
The UFC needs to sign those sambo champions. Nurmagomedov is a sambo champion and has a 3-0 record in the UFC. Sign more of them, Dana.

Zuffa's expansion plan into Eastern Europe continues, one fighter at a time. Curious to see what each guy can do, especially my countryman.

His FightFinder profile is strange. Here's a video from March 23 2013 MMA event:

Krylov's fight starts at around 1:14:00 and he loses via sub around 1:17:26. And he's still undefeated in all his online profiles. Fight's not even mentioned.

If that's the same dude, he's going to get slaughtered. He got tapped by an arm triangle from the opposite side of side control.

Wat

I hope it's another young Nikita Krylov from Ukraine.

Waste of money, both were terrible in recent fights. Krylov wtf? His managment declined offer to participate at M-1 Grandprix.

seems like they had a good reason.

UFC contract>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>M1 "grand prix"

So next up he loses a title fight, then starts breaking down with injuries from years of abuse. Finally to "retire" as a has been with incredible potential?
