This guy is the personification of self promotion and having a country behind you
The video of his highlights in CW has 6.9 million views, thats before his debut on UFC
I know a lot of people dislike the way he is being pushed, but its not like the UFC is making him like Sage
He is already a huge star on england, and thats enough for Dana even if he isnt that good

Paddy Pimplett is The future LW GOAT who will move on to boxing and KO that can crusher Canelo. Then he will eventually move up and have an epic clash with the WW GOAT Khamzat.

If he was able to move onto boxing and fight Canelo (for a huge Conoresque type payday ala Mayweather but probably without a 0 or two at the end...) why would come back to the UFC to face Khamzat?

He's just a new character on the scene...he did ok and got the win but was rocked...let's see how he does against better opponents before we wet the bed.

UFC overhyping a C level prospect while better LW prospects like Arman, Gamrot, etc. will get no love.

Another reason why title defenses is a dumb argument when discussing GOATs.
A lot of fighters undeservedly get awarded title shots simply because of their personality.

It's like the UFC get's fans stuck on the character or good looks of fighters and gets fans all hyped up WWE style instead of looking at their capabilities. Part of this has to do with some folks not having a "personality" so they are over looked.
