Anthony Pettis is testing free agency which means they are pretty much letting him go. UFC's old policy was to sign guys to extensions when they had one fight left on their deal. Letting Pettis go is smart.

They tried to extend him but Pettis’s said no.

Antigulov was ACB champ going in, he definitely deserved a chance, but he's been immensely disappointing unlike the other two ACB champs they signed in Yan and Zabit.

I don't think they'll cut Maia, he says he only wants one more fight before retirement and I think they'll let him have it.

Would also be surprised if they cut HW's too, seeing as they always hold onto name HWs. OSP also fights often and is dependable.

Don't get me wrong he's absolutely shit, but it made sense to sign him at the time.

I don't think there are really all that many good LHW's on the Russian scene to pick up tbh. Muslim Magomedov looks alright sometimes but I think he's a fat lazy MW really.

I imagine the winner (probably Moras, Melo is absolutely terrible) will get a couple more fights.

I think it's safe to say that the UFC is saving the majority of the Cuts for AFTER Christmas as to not stress out some Fighters during the Holidays, the Cuts made were probably pending the results of the respective bouts given the time frame.

Given that the UFC has 2 weeks off though, we could see more names show up, but I wouldn't bet on it, until the beginning of January.

the next few events cuts will come from that 2.
