Nowhere in that article says the bout is official other than the title, it’s a little click bait. The only thing official is him saying he wants the rematch but he wants Baki to work his way up to it. Given the way PFL has been run lately, I highly doubt Doumbe fights in the near future.

The UFC offered what they believe he’s worth, it is prize fighting at the end of day like you mentioned. But there is always a good with the bad, in the UFC granted he wins could have reached the Adesanya & Pereira status, both those fighters aforementioned were fighting for “peanuts” like every single fighter whoever made millions, not everyone starts off at the finish line and the UFC isn’t a charity.

The UFC refusing to pay accomplished champion level fighters what they're worth is the problem. If Dana and UFC want to do everything possible to make sure everyone illegally streams PPV until their product dies out I'm happy to oblige

A accomplished champion level fighter? is Doumbe or Vaklhkitov accomplished level MMA fighter? What major MMA title has they both held?

Lol, the cope out of using fighter pay to justify your deception for not buying a PPV, even if PPV was $20, your favorite fighters were on the card you still would illegally stream it, who are you trying to fool? So many posts of people complaining about their favorite fighters PPV pay, yet non of the so called fans of said fighters even willing to purchase the event to support them, a bunch of hypocrites.

There’s a reason why the UFC is still a float, the only organization consistently putting up events, getting as much of the product out there for people to consume while in the process creating a countless fighters millionaires also extending the said fighters portfolio into other business ops & don’t forget even the fighters who never reach the star status or echelon of the champions has parlayed them into other venues based on being labeled as a UFC fighter in itself.

With that said, there is a lot of things the UFC could fix and fighters should get paid more, but it is a business and there not in the business of overpaying fighters without profit, like the countless other orgs who has failed.

At this point I'm convinced you're a paid UFC shill. Alex was 2-1 when UFC signed him. You're a casual if you don't know who these guys are and what they've accomplished. What does Dana's balls taste like?

So, using logic equals to being a UFC shill? How much did Alex Pereira get paid when signing with the UFC? did he 200k? 500k? 1 million?

So the UFC should pay Doumbe and Vakhitov hundreds of thousands to millions in their first fight in the UFC fight, based on what they did in kickboxing? Lol, that’s not how it works.

Vakitov has a serious chance here. If he beats Rico, which is very possible btw. Rico really hasn't been himself and is on his way down. Artem can become a kickboxing star and his next offer for MMA will be huge.

I don't think he beats Rico though.

Answer me this, Mr. OG of this sport the all knowing, what did Alex Pereira get paid in his first fight in the UFC?, what was his contract? Should Vakhitov start at the finish at line and get millions? Based on what exactly? What did he accomplish in MMA again?

Vakhitov can retire in peace with the multi millions he made against Verhoeven.

Not like 1-0 Brock or 0-0 Toney fought for pennies in their first UFC fights. I know they were famous, but based on their accomplishments in MMA they didn’t even belong in the octagon.

Offcourse Brock and Toney didnt accomplish anything in MMA at the time, but what they lack in a accomplishments in MMA, they have acquired much more status, popularity, and interest in the North American market and international as they’re well known, different circumstances. Thats like wondering why Mayweather got paid millions to fight Tenshin in Rizin. Sometimes people gets paid on the amount of eyes, sponsors, chatter, they bring in, it occurs in almost in sport.

Vakhitov doesnt have fan base big enough to bring X amount of eyes to MMA, thats the reality some people on here don’t want to admit.
