Whenever they try to “push” some of these people it always backfires.

I got Miocic beating their next guy Ngannou who’s become very arrogant lately.

How they even saw any star potential within her is beyond me

Ngannou might just be responsible for the first death in the Octagon.

Her first loss in a competitive fight. Slow down

I love it tbh.
What did they see in her anyway?

Not sure wtf the UFC saw in her to give her a “push” anyways.

Yeah. I though it was just me. Not so long ago Ngannou was very respectful and likable. Now, after decapitation of Overeem he's starting to act like a cocky jerk.

The decision being read tonight was priceless...Calvillo was jumping up and down smiling, until they announced Cookie monster, then she was like

Pushing should be used lightly here. But I am sure they are hoping she can string one or two good wins together so she can be the next "Title contender".

I’m sure they wanted to explore the Latina market. I get it.

But how the fuck is someone with her skill level on a PPV over legit fighters is what pisses me off.

I remember her last fight she couldn’t get past the teep kick and she was in the co-main slot like WTF.

This is also her first real test and she failed. Just like pvz, sage they get a bunch if bums to build them up soon as they get real challenge the fold.

So the UFC should never "push" anyone?

They should only push already established stars? They should never try to create stars, or predict who will crossover?

I dunno. I just think Calvillo is young (in fight experience) and will come back stronger from this loss.

Ngannou getting way to cocky, guy sounded like a Cameroonian Mcgregor without the charisma in the press conference.

I get trying to go after different markets, but it’s like, have they watched her fight? They really need to slow the brakes on these newcomers they’re trying to build up. Even against Esparza I was shocked at how much of a favorite she was.

UFC desperately looking for a new woman fighter they can market that can actually back it up in the cage.

You have to fight better people to compete in this sport and make more money. And sometimes you learn more from a loss than a win.

This is as true as the fact that this forum is full of fat women hating slobs that refuse reason

Actually I think the UFC should push more fighters, not less. Would be pleasant if they stopped trying to shove some of them down or throats regardless of skill level though, like Paige and Sage.

Esparza is so short, she is practically an adult loli.

Loli is magic!
