This whole debate is interesting bc by the numbers it’s true. Most title defenses at BW and his resume on paper looks great.

the things you state are true, but it’s not his fault that any of those things happened, and I don’t think it takes away from him bc he consistently fights and wins WITHIN the rules.

Doesnt have the most if you count Cruz's WEC title wins which you should sense the belt carried over when the UFC merged with WEC, and just because its not his fault doesnt mean circumstances dont factor into his win streak, it absolutely does. Especially the TJ win, he fought a guy who basically had one arm.

That being said if he beats O'malley I think its definitely fair to have him in the GOAT BW discussion
