You people just don't fucking understand that the opponent matters a lot...Why do you think Conor vs Nate did so well? Because Nate is a shit talker thus the perfect adversary for Conor even tho Conor will outsell Diaz if they were to fight in separate cards.


Fedor vs Brock have a lot of build up, a lot of history that ZUFFA can easily hype to make people care about the fight. Not to mention Fedor has always been the quiete Russian Killer, why Brock is the cocky American guy, that makes the fight have some uniqueness that the causal viewer will enjoy. I mean Fedor went 10 years undefeated, has an amazing highlight, thats enough for people to give a shit about the fight.

So yes Fedor vs Brock > Brock vs Hunt......Fedor is just the perfect adversary which will get people more hyped.

So why not announce the fight so they can actually hype build up the fight?

They are gonna feature Fedor vs Maldonado....No doubt in my mind that ZUFFA's plan is for Fedor to win this fight cleanly then for him to fight Brock.


Fedor vs Brock, is the only real super fight they can make for UFC 200...perhaps the best SuperFight of all time tbh.

I would say theres some crossover but that they appeal to different markets is also a good thing. You look at UFC 100 and part of the reason the buyrate was so massive is that Brock and GSP attracted very different fanbases.

People wanted to see Brock vs Fedor 5 years ago, so its the perfect fight for UFC 200.
Lets forget that UFC have tried to sign Fedor since Pride fell and he refused.
Lets forget Fedors last 6 -7 fight and only hype him on Pride fights to sell his fight.


Fedor fans have always claimed that Fedor is a huge success and would increase ppv sales when every ppv he ever done made less than 100 000. Nobody have ever claimed that Nate Diaz was a huge ppv star.

I am glad you get all hyped up for this. But dont be too sad when it wont happen.
Because Brock wont be fighting Fedor.

you wouldn't think fedor would take this fight with out a full camp. he's fighting Fabio. then what 4-6 weeks later ufc 200 happening.. as much as id like to see fedor I still say the only fight that will get made is Barnett .. he called for it prior to hunto..

also if Barnett wins, I could see him going straight to the W.. since he seems to have wrestling as a career after the fighting is over.
