UFC needs to start a super HW division

There's not enough people +265 for a division. Barely anyone. Especially good. They could just remove the limit fir the rare ones that cut weight at HW.

Is this Tai Tuivasa trying to avoid making "diet" to 265lbs?

There is no shortage of superheavy weight a-level athletes on sherdog. Yea, we are not all fighters, but put sherbro ufc pi 3 months as islam would say and you get blue chip prospect.
Wtf is a level athletes? You idiots think sports are like HQs, in which athletes are divided in tiers like mutants? lol!

Heavyweight is a barren wasteland shuffling around single skill old farts. It has half the roster depth of 155lbs.

So long as its 10k to get brain damage live on PPV, you are not going to attract suitably young athletes that size.

Heavyweight is already a shallow division. This would water it down even more.

If there was a super heavyweight title fight in my back garden I'd close the curtains.

it´s teh best divison, others are midget. HW big Chads > smallo weight inferiority.

Who wins open weight ? That´s right. HW >

Like Max Holoway said, would Romans carry around a scale before a fight ?

god damn newb. been here 2 days...another sherbum we don't need.

No thank you.

With how cheap the UFC is with their budget and contracts. They aren't going to pay super athletes to fight at a super HW division. All we are going to get is more fat drunk guys who aren't in shape and who are better equip to fight at bars and low level mma circuits.

The heavyweight division is currently a threadbare circus show, where 90% of performers are hapless land whales who telegraph their punches and gas out after 2 minutes. A super heavyweight division would exclude the 10% worth watching.

I'd rather they made heavyweights reach and maintain a minimum level of fitness... mandatory beep tests or whatever. At least then I could watch the first round of a truly tedious heavyweight bout, and hope that the second round might not be even slower and shitter.

Far from being the glamour division like boxing, It actually traduces the reputation of the UFC to show most of these fat oafs lumbering around like angry tomatoes.

Well the conversation starts and ends with fighter pay

Bjt as far as the weight classes go in boxing

Cruiser weight is basically meant as a stopgap between heavy and the other divisions

It’s not marquee. The guys who stay their whole careers are significantly smaller then a UFC light heavyweight or not very skilled

If you pay heavyweights enough; the best205ers will migrate up. and every once in a while you have a usyk type that actually dominates heavyweight

But you also have a ton of interesting smaller heavyweights like wilder who keep the division active

While I’ve never made that walk, I’ll come out of retirement if huge and true.. or being true to my yugeness..
