Prett crazy how Khabib has jumped ahead of GSP, after only 6 ufc fights.

added 1 (all of mma not just UFC) category that i just found, its overall striking defense.

Best Striking Defense (based on strikes absorbed per min / SApM):
1. Fedor Emelianenko (0.59 SApM)
2. Lyoto Machida (0.64 SApM)
3. Anderson Silva (0.71 SApM)
4. Cain Velasquez (0.85 SApM)
4. Georges St. Pierre (1.01 SApM)

Just Found another:

Biggest Current Win Streaks Currently In Each Division:
Heavyweight: Andrei Arlovski & Fabricio Werdum
Light Heavyweight: Jon Jones
Middleweight: Chris Weidman
Welterweight: Georges St. Pierre
Lightweight: Khabib Nurmagomedov
Featherweight: Jose Aldo
Bantamweight: Thomas Almeida
Flyweight: Demetrious Johnson

Winning UFC gold in different weightclasses:
Randy & BJ with 2 apiece. Maybe Hendo should also belong here with 2 Pride belts.

Nobody's ever winning 3 and I don't event think anyone is joining their elite 2-belt club.

Highest Striking Defense/Most Strikes Avoided (minimum 350 strikes)
1. Jon Madsen
2. Georges St. Pierre

Madsen? i don't even know the guy. probably that's why nobody hit him. he doesn't exist.

I see no reason why all of these can't be broken. Except for stuff like KO of the Night, which don't exist anymore.

GSP is easily the most technical wrestle from the freestyle standpoint. picture perfect technique, probably olympic level. But he was the type of guy who would take you down with a traditional double and just work from top position

Khabib is very strong and you have to remember his main wrestling training partners are Cormier and Velasquez because he is too good for guys his size in wrestling. He is a multi time world champ in Sambo, black belt in Judo and a Russian national Freestyle Wrestler... he has an arsenal of throws, trips and slams.. his takedowns are mainly to hurt you, and then he will unload with strikes as you start to stand up and then he will just throw you again. I believe he even set the record for most takedowns in a single fight when he took down Abel Trujilo over 20 times in one fight.

Combining the stats of takedown accuracy and takedown defence would be an interesting stat.

He was one of the big wrestlers from DeathClutch (Brock's camp).. he went 7-0, lots of decisions and was very hard to hit because of takedown threat. Wasn't anything special just had really good wrestling, though his last win was a 1st round TKO over Gilbert Yvel..

then he fought fellow DeathClutch training partner Mike Russow (who KOd Todd Duffee in vicious manner), and he was given his first ever loss... then he was cut by the UFC after only 1 loss

(he was cut because he was boring and UFC couldn't cut him until he finally lost so they took the opportunity)

well some of the best wrestlers dont get takedowns attempted on them

i'd assume Jones, Khabib and GSP would still rule that category though

Isn't Barao's tdd is 100% ? And khabib has the most takedowns in one fight not in total

He also wrestles bears. Real actual bears. Not William Perry.

he was from the Kimbo TUF. like a bald Rosholt. he lay and prayed his way to 4-5 straight wins, then lost and got cut

Would have been nice if you actually put the numbers next to the guys name to make things a little easier and put them in perspective...

The stats are stupid, Robbie Lawler is 3rd

Does anyone think Robbie Lawler is in top 5 UFC wrestlers ever

Most of the stats that go with MMA are just beyond dumb
