Diaz also has fought at WW and the fight was at WW.
That's nice. Rumble fought at MW. Doesn't mean he's a MW.
Nate Diaz is a LW.

Sure you claim that now but I'm sure you thought it would benefit Conor before knowing the outcome. Just get over it and move on man.yeah, a weight class he has never fought in.
In theory Mighty Mouse could pack on weight and fight at HW, doesn't mean he'd beat Werdum. The fight being at WW suited Diaz more than it did McGregor.

What is his WW ranking?
I didn't look long, but the first rankings I found that go past 15 didn't have Nate ranked. So, Conor lost to a guy outside of the top 100?
Also, how many WW only weigh 169 lbs on fight night?
What's McGregor's LW ranking? I keep looking and looking, but I just can't see him. I thought they were the same size ... ;?
I didn't check your thread but take your word for it but other than Nate being a few inches taller with only 2 inch reach advantage I think it only played a factor because Conor decides to cut massive amounts of weight to make FW and hold a size advantage. No I didnt
Here is a thread I made before the fight http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/how-does-mcgregor-beat-diaz.3179669/
I was genuinely concerned with how McGregor would match up stylistically with Diaz and deal with the size disparity.
Rumour has it, Diaz might be fighting Lawler for the title ... wuuuuuut? I thought he wasn't a WW .... :OMcGregor was the #1 LW contender. Are you new?

Thing you're failing to realize is while Diaz is taller and longer than Conor, they're not separated by a great margin of weight like you seem to be thinking. Conor is actually the stronger and more filled out fighter between the two of them. Diaz is a fucking vegan. He's all about energy as opposed to raw horsepower. Conor is the stronger man and that showed when they were in the clinch. RDA would throw both of them like rag dolls though.
Diaz walks around at no higher than 180lbs and Conor is usually around 168 to 175. He cuts a tremendous amount of weight to make 145 and since I'm a wrestler, I can tell you first hand that weight cutting does NOT help your cardio improve. It's quite the contrary. He was fighting at his walk around weight. He didn't eat a bunch of hamburgers to put on weight, he simply fought at the weight he's usually at during trainin
Pretty sure it's just red meat Diaz doesn't eat.Thing you're failing to realize is while Diaz is taller and longer than Conor, they're not separated by a great margin of weight like you seem to be thinking. When Conor was winning, it made it seem like anything was possible. That you should go big in your life always. What he was doing was inspirational. Everyone hated him, but his belief in himself made it seem like that's all you need.
Now that he lost, it's like saying don't take risk. Don't go big, otherwise you will fail.
Ugh...these Conor Era Noobz are too much! When Conor was winning, it made it seem like anything was possible. That you should go big in your life always. What he was doing was inspirational. Everyone hated him, but his belief in himself made it seem like that's all you need.

It's common knowledge that there is a correlation between being heavy and being able to take a punch.
