UFC is less exciting now that Conor lost.

Sounds like you should be watching WWE if you need characters like Conor to watch actual mixed martial arts.

Conor actually brought negative publicity to the sport.

If his own country of Ireland doesn't like him...well their attitude of MMA is negative.

Conor losing was great for MMA.

Keep telling your salty self that over and over. Increase in public knowledge/interest, PPV sales, and his highest disclosed salary in UFC history speak otherwise. Again, stay salty. If you had a social circle, you would understand the positive interest that he garnered from all audiences. We don't need close minded fans like you in the sport. I want it to grow. You want it to remain the same.

Sounds like your the salty one because your husband Conor lost to someone that was hand picked on 10 days notice.

I want the sport to grow on merit not WWE antics.

Also to talk about a "social circle" on a messageboard means you are just a mentally weak bitch who needs validation.

Everyone i have spoken to about Conor thinks he is a douchebag who was due for some karma for disrepecting Nate for teaching poor kids BJJ.

MMA doesn't need WWE crossover fans like you turning the sport of mixed martial arts into a WWE wankfest.

Read your post. You sound like he had fun with your mom, twice. Complete butthurt.

assuming this is not a troll thread

TS do you watch football? Teams lose teams win. They all lose at some point. Panters were by appearances the best team in the NFL this past season then they lost to the Falcons and went on to lose the superbowl against the Broncos. That is the story of the game and pretty much of the UFC.

You are probably young and only became MMA fan within last few years. Did you really and truly think Conor was going to move up weight classes and still be reaping wins like a super saiyan. You need a reality check man.

Well I havent seen any cards since McG lost...
So lets hold that thought to we actually see some cards.
What makes me existed is good fights. Not the talk and the hype but the fight them self.

He needs to know his limits and stay away from WW.

I still believe he will be FW and LW champion. Possibly before the year is out.
Unless they match him with a more prepared and better conditioned Diaz???????

Diaz would only be better at LW, since he'd actually be ready for a fight. Not worse. McGregor isn't touching that LW strap. RDA, Diaz and other top LW's run through him.

When Conor was winning, it made it seem like anything was possible. That you should go big in your life always. What he was doing was inspirational. Everyone hated him, but his belief in himself made it seem like that's all you need.

Now that he lost, it's like saying don't take risk. Don't go big, otherwise you will fail.

This is total nonsense. What does Conor losing that fight have to do with his belief in himself? What happened has nothing to do with your depressing attitude about it.

True for me too. UFC is just a bunch of blasé prizefighters now.

Care to explain why Conor gave up the clinch to Diaz within 30 seconds of the 1st round? I was saying the whole time that RDA would demolish Conor and it would start with the clinch. And lo and behold, Conor gets clinched and put against the fense against Nate fucking Diaz within 30 seconds of the fight. RDA would have and will destroy Conor if and when that fight ever happens. No doubt about it. He had no business taking that fight. He should have at least defended first against Edgar and THEN take a fight against a contender at 155. If he wins, THEN and only THEN could they justifiably set up the super fight. He wasn't properly ready for the level that RDA is on. And likely never will be.
McGregor beats the brakes off RDA. RDA ducked the fight and pulled out.

Thing you're failing to realize is while Diaz is taller and longer than Conor, they're not separated by a great margin of weight like you seem to be thinking. Conor is actually the stronger and more filled out fighter between the two of them. Diaz is a fucking vegan. He's all about energy as opposed to raw horsepower. Conor is the stronger man and that showed when they were in the clinch. RDA would throw both of them like rag dolls though.

Diaz walks around at no higher than 180lbs and Conor is usually around 168 to 175. He cuts a tremendous amount of weight to make 145 and since I'm a wrestler, I can tell you first hand that weight cutting does NOT help your cardio improve. It's quite the contrary. He was fighting at his walk around weight. He didn't eat a bunch of hamburgers to put on weight, he simply fought at the weight he's usually at during training camp.
McGregor has never fought at that weight before. ZERO experience in that weight class. That makes a big difference.

Diaz would also be weaker and less able to take damage at LW.

I think the main reason why he was able to take so much damage against McGregor was because of how heavy he was.

I would love to see a rematch at LW. Maybe Diaz can be McGregor's first defence of his LW title.

Lol kids these days. You don't know fuck all about MMA. This much has already been established a long time ago. You have no legitimate analysis of that fight. I gave you a clear cut analysis and you can't even attempt to refute it. It's because you're a newb and don't know shit. RDA will crush him if they ever fight and they likely won't because Edgar is about to put the nail in Irish Dan Hardy's coffin and once He goes up to 155 he'll be relegated to gatekeeper status. You will see. And when it happens, if you're not banned by then I'll be sure to remind you.
Here ya go: http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/w...-rda-feel-free-to-bump-in-the-future.3158101/

Made this thread before RDA ducked/pearl haboured McGregor.

He fought and lost to a lw not ww, just stop.
