Nothing really crazy happen. It's just that it was over a decade ago. And it was around the time the Strikeforce buy out took place. So that added to the depth.

We were def lucky to witness JDS and Cain rise to the top in the same era.

Cain was the king there. Yes I admit the team of the retard made a good decision about training in Mexico but in normal condition, Cain would have destroyed him. Jus saying.

The Brock Lesnar train got derailed by Cain and retired by Overeem at the end of 2011.

Shane Carwin got injured in 2011 and never fought again.

Overeem got suspended in 2011 and was out for all of 2012. Came back in 2013 and suffered 2 devastating ko's and completely shattered his Uber aura.

Mark Hunt, Big Nog, Frank Mir, Roy Nelson, Bigfoot, and Cro Cop all aged out by 2013.

Cain beat the prime out of JDS in 2013 then immediately got injured and fell out of his prime.

By 2014 only Werdum, a resurgent Arlovski, and sometimes JDS and Overeem were still going strong.
