UFC Has Lost All Credibility With RR/WMMA

There are some lazy people on this forum. How much extra effort would it take to type "You are mad" instead of "U mad"? It's not significant enough to make me angry; it's kind of funny. You're a credit to your generation.

Not a fan. It unfortunate that they force it viewers. It's so bad.

u Mad?

Nobody called Mike Tyson running through can after can in the 1st round a farce. RRR is just that much better than the competition at the moment. Shernerds act like Dana White has all the good WMMA fighters tied up somewhere. Just accept that Rousey is that good.

This is how MMA started (mismatches, ill-equipped challengers, etc..). I think a lot of you guys don't want WMMA to evolve because you're feeling threatened. Don't worry! Your balls won't stop working because women get good at this sport, too.

Dude she is completely legit and anybody with half a brain can see that. This girl is an amazing fighter just respect it and move on.

Dana trying so hard to establish her as a superstar with subpar competition has lost all credibility with me. Anyone with half a brain knew Davis had no chance.

she's fighting through the entire top ten, you dummy. are they supposed to create newer, tougher fighter robots in a lab or something?

This is the same fucking discussion time and time again. People here are either for or against, most of the people who are against bash her because of irrelevant things (dana protects her (BS), she's a mental bitch (who cares)

And Cyborg was offered to fight Ronda at 140, she refused last year, and left UFC to Invicta, fought a nobody then Marloes Coenen again and the the Thai Fight. She could have fought outside Invicta, but she was champion so IDK.

She's going to fight Ediane Gomes, and then drop down. If she does then bring her but she had the chance.

The Gina thing was to make money obviously, nothing else but really far away.

Sounds more like TS has lost all credibility on Sherdog.

The puncher, not the punchee.

Has anyone ever declared Men's MMA is dead because of a 16 second knock out?

Valasquez got KOd by JDS in just over a minute. Nobody decided that Men's MMA had lost credibility. They said 'JDS is a beast!'

The difference is that in this situation Cain was able to easily avenge what happened and rose to the occasion, indeed well beyond the occasion, twice in a row. If that were to happen with any of Rousey's opponents, maybe we would be singing a different tune. Since the second and third Cain fights, most fans have stopped trying to compare his career to Ronda's. And Dos Santos' fights with Hunt, zombie Cro Cop and even Roy Nelson were more competitive than any of Rousey's pro fights.

It's kimbo all over again except the UFC should be above this kind of shit.

WMMA is pathetic.... One big fish amongst a sea of garbage.

A sea of garbage including an Olympic silver medalist. How many men in the UFC have an Olympic silver medal?

Ya know sherdog, sometimes its too easy to make you mother fuckers look stupid.

Well, let's be honest. Rousey is basically the only thing that people are remotely interested in when it comes to this division. It's makes you wonder if they'll even keep women around if and when she decides to move on.

If all her fights end up like this for the next two to three years, they won't. WMMA fighters who lose to Rousey like this or would lose like that if they fought her are simply not gonna be interesting to the die hard fans or the casuals. If all of Rousey's fights end up like this by the time she retires, WMMA is history once that happens.

When Holm decisions 40 year old Denny's waitresses people think she is legit but Ronda destroying top fighters in the division makes her shit. Sherdog lol.

^This.

If RR wins a few more title fights, she's earned herself a spot on the undercard in the men's division I believe.

I would be beyond stoked to see her fight men on the UFC undercards. Now THAT would be a great way to show exactly how all this sensationalist bullshit surrounding her is exactly that - sensationalist bullshit. When a BW ranked 20th or so fights her and finishes her as easily as she has finished all her challengers, then we can finally stop pretending she's "just that good".

How do you know it wont happen with Alexis, or McMann? My point was, Cain losing quickly did not mean the end of men's MMA.

They're introducing another WMMA weight class, so one division having a dominant champion doesn't mean WMMA is over. It means there's a dominant champion in Women's Bantamweight Division...just like GSP, Jon Jones, Valasquez etc.

So, whenever women's sport's on are you that guy who just shouts 'Bullshit! Boo. Not a real sport!'? Would you tell your daughter not to bother because there's going to be a boy who can do it better?

She's ranked against her competition. That's how this works; the rest is just marketing.

You gotta be shitting me.

He's not kidding. Neither are guys like Project 86 or the other fanboys here, which is why the mystique surrounding Rousey gets on all our nerves. But yeah, placing Rousey's MMA accomplishments in the same building as Shogun's is well beyond just being embarrassing.
