Well isn't that odd? Its the total opposite on my end! Out of curiosity do you live in a no fault state? Here in CA its no fault and I know 3 guys who got cheated on (one repeatedly, the other his wife even had a secret abortion), and ended up losing the house and alimony for life. One is living with his mom again and keeps getting served papers for his 401K etc to this day.
