Media UFC Gillette Commercial

Haha love the the blatant hypocrisy...

Recently I’ve seen feminists get offended by:

- white men

- people who identify with their birth gender (“Cis” )

- shaving their armpits

- someone using a wrong pronoun for your chosen gender, purposely or otherwise

- holding a woman equally as accountable as a man for having drunk (legally non-consensual) sex

- anyone even remotely pro-life or against late term (24 + months abortions). Suggesting a woman “man” up to her pregnancy mistake like a man is expected to is apparently a blasphemy to feminists. Suggesting adoption rather than abortion is a crime punishable by death.

- anything even remotely negative being said about anyone that is non-white, as that makes you racist

- anything even remotely negative being said about women in general, as that makes you sexist

- perceived wage gap despite the statistic that men dominate the 5 highest paid degrees while women chose the lowest 5 paying degrees, and that men are 9 times as likely as women to die on the job

-any behavioral biologists that suggest things like testosterone and estrogen may scientifically & naturally explain gender economical & social discrepancies between the sexes rather that blatant and systematic sexism that feminists always complain about.

- The rare case of a man not having to pay alimony and/or child support in divorce cases.

- every time a black person is killed by a white man, when it truth the vast majority (90%+) of black murders are caused by other blacks.

- getting rid of things like Diversity quotas and let jobs be filled by truly the most qualified, regardless of gender, race, or orientation

- “non-verbal” signs of withholding consent not being honored by men, because apparently saying “no” is too hard.

- even the faintest suggestion that rape allegations be give due process and investigation is so offensive to the feminist that is implies you are yourself a rapist.

Dont know if you realize this, but Feminists are the undisputed kings of perpetually being offended

You are in the wrong forum.
Feminist or LGBT would be more suited for you.

You are in the wrong forum.
Whiny Drama Queen or Scared Little Babyman would be more suited for you.

Real men don't shave. This whole industry was invented by ancient feminists to rob us of our facial manhood - hair.

The framing sets up scenarios that are resolved near the end with men taking action. I don't see it as finger wagging but I doubt I'll ever convince anyone to see it the way I do.

While it's not a new message to glorify men for doing the right thing I don't see a problem in it being part of our country's discourse. Clearly there are still problems with people ignoring abuse. Look at the catholic church and the coverup of child rapists. Look at Cosby, Weinstein, Bryan Singer, Kevin Spacey - all were known to be creeps at best and serial rapists at worst for decades without consequences. Same thing with Matt Lauer, Bill Oreilly, Les Moonves - all were abusive while in work setting without consequence. In politics you have Clinton, Trump, JFK all known to be lecherous scumbags that were cheaters at best and sexual predators at worst (JFK directed a 19 year old intern, who's virginity he took, to suck off one of his aides in a pool). Tons of people in their orbits turned a blind eye to all this.

I lived in a foreign country when I was younger and I didn't speak the local language. One night I woke up at like 2 AM and heard domestic violence happening in an apartment next to mine. I wanted to do something but I had no idea what to do because I couldn't communicate. I didn't know them. I didn't know if I would make the situation worse for the woman if I tried to intervene by kicking the guys ass. I wanted to call the police but I didn't know if I could communicate to them or if they would even do anything since the country was patriarchal and generally turned a blind eye to this sort of shit. I didn't even know how to say my address in the local language. I could hear the woman sobbing and I did nothing. I was mad at myself and at all the other people in the building who obviously heard what was happening and also did nothing. A decade later I still sometimes think about it with regret. I should have done something. I don't think a commercial is necessarily going to change anyone's action if they are in a situation like this but who knows.

It's not that I don't understand where you're coming from, because I do. But the reality is that it's in our human nature to avoid conflict, which really is part of the reason that abusers and psychopaths and murderers and rapists and theives tend to get away with much more than they ought to.

It's the gendering of both the bad behaviour and the tendency to "give it a pass" that are problematic. If you want to see why it's problematic, you don't need to go far. Just surf around the internet for a while and look at the responses. The rhetoric between men and women has become uglier than I've ever seen it in my life. There are some pretty disfunctional men out there who respond to this sort of thing with a long list of accusations against specific women and women in general. Well no shit. Some wen do rotten things, just like some men do? Colour me surprised!

But if you're a young man, already insecure about yourself and your interactions with women, you see this sort of exchange, see the dividing line that has been drawn, pick a side, and begin to radicalize. Ditto if you're a young woman who has ever found herself entangled with a bad man. Before you know it, we have a virtual gender war on our hands.

Men and women make an awesome team. At home. At work. In society in general. Without my wife I'd be lost. But so would she. I work in a school. Without our female colleagues and administrators, my male colleagues and administrators would be lost. But so would they. I had a business with a woman business partner. Without her, the thing would have collapsed. Without me it would have collapsed. This sort of thing threatens to poison those partnerships. And society is in trouble without those partnerships.

If we want to rally around the fact that Bill Cosby (or pick your example) is a horrible person and should be imprisoned, I think you'll find that most men and women can come together and do that. If you want to use Bill Cosby (et al) as an example to illustrate the problem with men, you are playing the dangerous (and currently all too common) game of driving a wedge between the genders and poisoning gender relationships.

lol I finally had to see the commercial to get the parody. I can't believe you maga beta cucks are this upset. I guess your feels are as sensitive and weak as your orange, tiny mushroom penised champion.

Real men don't shave. This whole industry was invented by ancient feminists to rob us of our facial manhood - hair.

You can fuck right off. A beard is hella uncomfortable and people have been shaving since the Roman Empire. And if you ever roll, the bearded dudes are the worst.

I assume this commercial was made in Hollywood, the epicenter of sexual harassment/assault and :eek::eek::eek:philia.

Edit: not the TS parody, the actual commercial.

Ahahaha ha brilliant video, well done to whoever did it.

The original infuriated me, especially the way every time something awful was done it was done by a white who had to be told off by a person of colour. Fucking ridiculous racist shit.

Every single incident of a negative action was carried out by a white man in the video. If it was once or twice it wouldn't be annoying but when it's every single time the message that's being portrayed is that white men are the worst. Ridiculous anti white anti male garbage.
