Nice KO Sam, but I still hate you and your fake personality...

Come on man, the guy is cool as fuck, legit.
Exactly, you might as well stink up the place like Elias did rather than try to stand in the pocket with him or push him backwards. This guy was largely untested and might've bought into his own hype a bit too much. Also very rookie move of him to get emotional after he got dropped so hard. Guys who aren't thinking straight will get caught and immediately get away from their game plan b/c they're pissed and trying to make up for the damage the other guy just put on them. And Prachnio paid the price for it.Unless you have special power too, you are just stupid if you spend any time in the pocket with Alvey.
If you don't have dynamite in your hands, you need to make him lead. Pepper him from outside, land leg kicks. It's not exciting, but it's better than pressing the action like Prachnio did here (and while hurt LOL!) and running into a sledgehammer.
Alvey isn't a tough puzzle to solve, yet plenty of guys still fall into the trap. Maybe it's because of his goofy, smiling demeanor? The guy hits like a truck.

Sam does a good job calling out guys who he matches up well against. I'd bet him against Villante for sure. Villante's defense is nil, Alvey's chin is really good. Even Alvey will find a way to let his hands go against no defense Villante.
Can someone talk me out of my torres bet pls
Yeah back when I boxed for a bit in my early 20's I was a terrible counter puncher but some guys fall in love with it. I learned how to feint and lead, throw to the body. Somebody like my brother was more of natural counter puncher and had the opposite problem, very accurate and natural counter puncher but didn't know how to lead that well. It's weird, Sam's just one of those guys that finds countering easier and hasn't gotten out of that habit. Very dangerous but only in certain situations. It's odd to someone like me who never was a good counter puncher, but a lot of guys actually find it easier than leading. Sam is one of those guys, I guess.Yep that is absolutely a brilliant call. Alvey also has a better gas tank.
I honestly don't think Sam has a problem letting his hands go if someone comes at him. He literally has one setting, and it's counterpunch. If you move forward into the pocket, his hands will fly. If you don't, he will feint and plod and do nothing. It's so weird, but it's pretty much every fight of his.
