UFC Fox 23 - Pena vs Shevchenko - Denver

Underestimated? He opened at -135 against Cote and -180 against Story. I think most people would empty their BR if either rematch were made w those same odds

Think you quoted the wrong guy, I made the same point as you. He was the favorite going into 9 out of the past 10.

Pena r1 and r2 props are so juicy. both in the +1000 range. If Pena doesn't find a finish in the first 2 then I think she loses. If Pena finds a way to win a decision or finish in rounds 3-5 I will be surprised.
i took a stab at rd 2 and rd 3 .... figured rd 1 would be too soon .. needs to wear shev down a bit

Lol finding confidence in nothing, Cerrone doesn't spar either. Both these guys are at a level where drilling is more important to them than sparing. Fighters spar to get used to conditions inside the cage such as adrenaline, movement etc but when both these guys have over 40 fights each, they're acclimated to fight conditions.

Cerrone spars and Mas would be too if he was in Florida. But he's not. You better be sparring if you are facing a great striker.

Sucks dude how'd you do that? My cousin tore his about a year ago but he was able to get back to normal pretty soon after PT

Popped it on a switch kick training today. The whole gym heard it. Freak thing. Sucks. They're telling me I'm a year out and I was planning on taking an ammy fight in June.

They told my cousin the same thing. Surgeon said his Achilles looked like shredded chicken. But yeah he went through Pt and everything was back to normal in no time. They told him the chance of tearing the other one is very likely Bc of overcompensating so when you get back into things, take it easy! Hope your surgery and recovery is fast and smooth

I do not understand how people are betting Masvidal NSC to +115... He is one of my favorite fighters and I am on his ML for a half unit so far at +145, but I thought it would go in the other direction. Yeah, Masvidal has only been stopped three times out of 41 professional fights, but he is not exactly a potent finisher and he can be hurt. Off the top of my head, I can remember him being dropped by a Daron Cruickshank head kick and a spinning wheel kick from Rustam Khabilov of all people. Yeah, the Khabilov kick is kind of fluky and not a traditional head kick, but it shows how Masvidal is open to one of Cowboy's most dangerous weapons. The head kick. I'm not going to go more in depth here, but Cowboy definitely has much more finishing potential on the ground and is easily the more potent finisher in general

Think I found some spots I like on the Frankenstein fight

Fight ITD -175
u1.5 +145
Maybe Frankenstein +190 and/or his itd +301

Frankenstein has never even been out of round 2 and his fighting style shows why. His defense is horrible, he has pretty bad cardio, and he doesn't have the greatest fight IQ which leads to him getting into wild bang outs where either fighter is susceptible to getting finished. He is 2-1 in the UFC, but I'm pretty sure he has been dropped or at least rocked in all three. I would definitely not touch him as a favorite, but him as a decent underdog is kind of interesting against a debuting fighter

What are you talking about? Mas ITD is +495

He's talking about Mas NSC!
Havent had time to check this forum in awhile. Any controversial fights that haven't already been discussed to exhaustion that I could take a stab at?

Cowboy using Fight Milk to cut weight. Confidence increase Masvidal

What do you have for Knight/Caceres?

He just said he has a deviated septum tho so that's that. Dumb redneck doesn't want to fix it.

I'm leaning on Knight with sub props but I think his ML will get cheaper closer to fight day and I'll think about playing it then if the lines are even.

You think Knight gets the TDs he needs?

Via UFC Tonight. Not saying he's looking past Masvidal but on his UFC tonight interview Cowboy says he's targetting a fight with either Damian Maia or Robbie Lawler after he fight with Jorge Masvidal this weekend in Denver.

I like either matchup for him but I really, really hope we can get Cowboy vs. Lawler on UFC 209. That would be awesome.

Cowboy looking past Masvidal. confidence increase Mas

I think Knight gets in his face and eats punches and gives punches. They'll get tangled up sooner or later whether it be a TD, scramble or knock down.

I'm not saying he's going to tap him but at +655 I had to play it being that most of his finishes are by subs and Caceres has 5 sub losses. Fight Finder capping, if you will.

You might be right, but caceras has such better movement than Alers who is a zombie, and hooker a guy who throws one strike at a time.

For me there is perhaps value in caceras, since he had a good fight with yair and has good cardio. He might be better at countering knight than hooker was. I haven't bet it yet tho.
