Hope that event will be clean from splits and robberies.

For what its worth, Masvidal seems to have done his camp in Colorado. The catch is that he only had 1 sparring partner - Micah Miller (Cole Miller's brother).

A lot of fighters don't spar these days. A vet like Mas won't need to be sparring too much.

Masvidal vs Cerrone will be most likely a split decision. Masvidal just loves going to a split decision. fucking I hope it goes his way this time.

I already bet 1u on Valentina but really tempted to double that. Perfect combination of mental attitude, physical conditions and appropriate and specific training. Still at 1.80 which isn't bad.

Cerrone - Jorge is not a finisher, he's a decision fighter, he's a big talker, we'll see what he does, he's split decision guy, I finish people, I'm looking to finish him too, I'll fight on the March card in Vegas, I like to stay busy, I say yes to everybody

For those with an hour to kill

I think its a LB fight, see if Valentina can avoid the clinch in the first round because if she can't then Pena's chances increase by quite a bit.

Valentina looks ready !

She looks good here, but I've seen training vids of her for previous fights and she looked exactly the same imo, doing the same drills. And I don't feel she really applies that kind aggression in actual fights.
I got $100 in on Shev @ +100 odds, and the main reason I didn't do more is because it's not inconceivable that Pena could pull a Diego Sanchez on Shev through sheer grit and pressure.

I'd advice people to be careful here not to get tunnel vision, where you start to see pros or cons that aren't really there.

Only the last 4 weeks of camp, he started it at ATT

Added 1 more unit on Shevchenko. Also, Ngannou will be a lot bigger compared to Arlovski from what I can see in Countdown. Even though Arlovski has not been a very big heavyweight throughout his career, he seems even smaller.

Anyone liking the under2.5 rounds or fight doesn't go ITD in Li/Nash?

Maybe it is just because he hasn't been agressive, but Mas doesn't have a legit KO/TKO from punches since 2009. I agree that Cerrone's most dangerous weapon are his kicks, however he has imrpoved his hands a lot over the last few years.

That's a good point. I do think Mas will have success boxing and will beat him to the punch in some exchanges, but Cerrone will land the harder shots and mix it up more imo. I don't see Mas finishing and he doesn't exactly make a habit of winning clear-cut decisions. If it does come down to a close decision, the fact that the fight is in Denver and the crowd being solidly behind Cowboy, will make his more powerful shots ring even louder with the judges.

I agree surprised to see so many on masvidal. Masvidal is 3-3 last 6 fights cerrone is 4-0 at ww has looked awesome and not to mention he is 12-1 last 13 and its not like he hasn't fought tough guys.

I took the over @ +100

The way I see is both guys have a lot of power and suspect defence, I guess Nash can wrestle Li who got has shown some holes there but if its a striking match then I can see either guy getting a KO.

Jouban picks Masvidal, Masvidal is like Nate Diaz, he won't be your friend, will score the upset, but says he always picks against Cowboy

That 3-3 is a bit misleading though. All 3 losses were split decisions and 1 of them was a robbery. I agree though, Cowboy has looked great since moving to Welterweight, although he seemed a little bit off to me in his last one despite getting the job done.
