Avoid betting against chin. Bet against skillset. And his is not to bet against in this particular fight. Not that he can't be knocked out, but it is not something that I want to put money on. Unless we talking huge odds of course.

Yeah, I overlooked that particular path to victory since I (wrongly) assumed

-Calvillo would have no way to get it to the ground.
-Botelho would have improved on the ground compared to what we saw back in 2014 and 2015.

Turns out Calvillo did a fine job preparing and learned to catch kicks in the 11 months she was off, and Botelho hadn't improved a damn off her back. Oh well, should have been more open to those possibilities.

I agree that I should not be cocky when the fight is done.
But I really didn't predict anything more that it is shitty fight to bet on. And he was really confident in Botelho. I didn't know if Cynthia will really win. I thought it will be sloppy bad wmma fight.

Eh, it's a decent camp, if slightly behind the times. Shouldn't matter for WMMA, who don't need anywhere near cutting edge training, anyways.

Julia Budd literally just trains with her husband, a journeyman fighter who once got mauled by Evan Tanner in the UFC, and she is a top 10 pound-for-pound female fighter.

Also, Poliana is chucking those kicks without a care in the world. Calvillo's TD game is almost excluisively catching kicks and single legs. Or if you take her down she scramble and take your back or takes mount. Shitty women fight IQ is a consern for me. Poliana is going to throw a naked kick, like she always do, Calvillo catches it and it is a mess from then on.
