Strength/Mass UFC fighters lifting numbers

I'm pretty sure it's legit..

There was a thread in the World Wide a while back , after almost dying and aged , Tank was putting up 350 lbs easy...

The comments I remember pointed out he was bouncing the bar off his chest. Which should have resulted in broken ribs if the bar really did weigh 600lbs.

That said, the bar is obviously bending, so it must have been a heavy weight.

I have most of these but not the pulls but I have a 3x bodyweight squat am I good?
to give you some actual numbers
press 1-1.25
Bench 1.25-1.5
squat 2-2.5
deadlift 2-2.5
chins/pullups = to bench with added extra weight
row 1.70-1.9

If you can hit all of those numbers you are at elite strength for combat sports and most other sports as well

Improbable but not impossible.

Joe is like 250-260lb here...

Sergio Pettis benched the 275
Lawler puts up over 400
Shawn Jordan over 600
Tim Boetche won the overall fittest UFC competition

But none of that matters because 145 Conor was carrying the entire UFC.
can't find anything on Lawler or pettis's bench press can you show where you found that?

Thats years ago of posted vids long lost in the abyss . Never saw the lawler one but there was a YouTube of lil Pettis doing the 275. Pretty good for a 135er.

thought Pettis was a 155er did he move down later on?

Basically I could low kick Tyson Fury ? He looks like the type of guy to have two broken knees after one take down. But man does he box well. Skills. Right @ROcknrollracing your favorite topic

I'm gonna give it a little effort for 2-3 weeks and post a 130 kg bench press to shit it on em on @maximus__ aboriginal cop warrior batman

Put your number twos in the air if I will bp 130. Unless I forget it.

Tyson Fury is probably a prime example of what im talking about if you have really watched him box you would know that his skill is terrible. He wins because he's a big ass country boy that can take a hard shot.

Tyson Fury can box from both orthodox and southpaw, had one of the best jabs in the heavyweight division and had some of the best footwork in the division until he ran into Usyk who is quicker and faster. It's HW compared to most of his opponents he was the more skilled fighter, he just never had a big right hand...
His skill combined with his size made him good. Not just his size or he wouldn't have lost to Usyk.
Here's a video of someone breaking it down, so I must be right.

Static maximal strength is overated for boxing. Boxing fights are 12 x 3. If you bench or squat 400 pounds, how long does that last ? 15 seconds, 3 min rest, 15 seconds.

Max strength has more aplication to grappling than boxing.

Strenght cardio is also a real thing and I'm inventing pioneering the term. The cardio to lift for longer and at various weights and intensity. Not peak lift. Lifting intervals over that 3-5 min period. MMA is light cardio, standing, active rest, sprint, strength for burst, strength for 2 minutes in a row and everything inbewteen. You and your opponent are pacing each other in various energetic systems.

Chael said GSP was the strongest guy he grappled with, not cause of his max strength but because of how long he can keep his strength up.

Strong explosive guys look for spots to rest. Weather on top in the grappling or threatening power to get breaks in action in the stand up.

Pillow fists like Colby and Nate pray on their opponents fatigue.

Many are a hybrid of the two types.
