UFC Fight Night: Blanchfield vs. Barber

Read here or anywhere else on google about system bets or just "systems".

The BOLD B means that that is my bank (some also call it banker, in other countries it's also called "standard"). Broadly speaking, It makes the system bet cheaper but overall odds are lower.

It's definitely not new, it's been used for hundreds of years at horse racing. I vaguely remember when I was teenager (20+ years ago), people using it for football (soccer).

Not all sportbooks have it for MMA.

Okay it seems like what we call "round robin" which I use sometimes. The banker or standard is something different. Like if you're doing multiple round robin plays it's the one included in all of them because you're most confident in it.

I think I get it, just haven't heard this verbiage used to describe it before.

Yes, it's what you describe.

In European betting sites they use the capital B for Bank, even though most countries don't use the word bank "Bank". It comes from the UK.

In Italian "bank" = "Fisso/a" (fixed/unmovable), similarly for other languages of Latin origin. In Greek it's "standard".

Yet all websites use the "B" symbol, obviously a reminant from old english.

This tweet is a reply to a new MarQuel Mederos fight announcement. Read this guy's reply, then read his back-and-forth with MarQuel Mederos in the following replies. Seems like Mederos intentionally pulled out of his last two fights for an easier opponent.

yeah sure, in Latin = Bancus, Italian = Banco, French = Banque

That's correct.

I put "bank" in quotes. I wasn't talking about the word bank but the betting term "bank" which is only used in the UK.
In Italian it's "fissa/e".

I understand that stylistic Goff should hold the edges but is his tdd really that proven? And his strking is ugly. Honestly that was a very poor performance vs definition of mid Trey Waters. Before that he really only had to survive vs glass cannon Kinoshita.

Probably wisful thinking that Brahimaj has something for him as he is not that good himself. Just wondering if he should be this big of a favorite against anyone. Even vs Mickey Gall I wouldnt play him with these odds.

Live bet is the spot if you like Goff here, he usually overcomes some early adversity in his fights.

I happily wasted money on Brahimaj. ML and sub props. Sometimes, records lie, but he's got one of those true dichotomies for a record, like Terrance McKinney. Until his KO over Gall, his record was All Sub wins- almost all of which came in round 1. Goff was subbed twice as a amateur (one listed as TKO). Both should be technical submissions because Goff did not tap on either one, because he's tough as all fuck.

Brahimaj has shown enough solid traits for me to have bet on him, but he's lacking technically on the feet. And I think it'll show in a grimy fight.

I'm picking Goff to win. I've got him winning by decision, but I still can't waste more money on the point spread. I've seen Brahimaj look tough as all fuck in defeat, but I dont see him faring well in a sloppy round 2 on the feet like Goff will. The Goff props are not worth it for me.

Why is Leavitt the betting favorite? And why do 78% of fans think he's going to win?
