Usman is the most overrated modern UFC hype product and the people who said he'd be a challenge for GSP let alone beat him should be shunned.

40% of his title reign: Colby (also overhyped specifically for LOSING to Usman)

40% of his title reign: Masvidal (lol)

20%: Gilbert. Good win.
there was nothing hype about Usman, he was legitimately top 2 pfp at one point. 2019 Colby was a great fighter too

Leon couldn't have been serious with his comments about him being stronger than Brady. Why would you think you're stronger than a guy built like a fucking stub?
I didn't even see him talking about that but it's ridiculous. He was ragdolled by belal, Brady looks legit 20% larger than Belal frame-wise. Leon was either hyping himself up or deluded. He looked thinner than usual and it seemed to me like he had an all new corner.

Good enough to not get finished, he's strong enough and has much better clinch work than Leon, much stronger physically as well. Brady vs Shavkat will be fun. I'm glad to see him getting his flowers, I've been calling him the best grappler at 170. Absolutely relentless.
Shav/Brady is very interesting. I'm into that.

Maybe it was a lucky guess. Maybe I just knew that high level grappling is Leon’s weakness. And Brady is able to hang with top names in the pure bjj world.

Maybe not rock em sock em entertainment, but a wonderfully executed, slow cooked, anaconda squeeze performance. Methodical. Strategic.

I feel bad for how bad Leon got exposed.

But much respect to Brady’s skills. Damn. That’s high level shit.

A lot of potatoes don't realize that height and reach aren't the only elements of size. Frame, weight and overall mass are factors too. Brady is a 200lbs welterweight and carries the weight easily, he's not small for the weight class at all
God tier build for dealing with wrestlers tbh

my only dissapointment is that his hulk-built seems perfectly suitable for north-south chokes but he never goes for north-south chokes:rolleyes:
Maybe dosen't like that it lets the opponent get their base back immediately if it misses? Not sure. He definitely has the squeeze for it

Nah... I can see Brady vs Shavkat as a PPV Co-Main this summer when a fight falls through.
That's possible. What is Shavkat timeline? Don't see Shavkat not coming back for the Belal and JDM winner. Esp JDM, I think Shavkat walks through JDM. I think we might see Brady kill off Buckley as a contender or see Buckley catch him and kill off Brady as a contender.

Brady looked like a monster, but Leon could be shot , I know this guy specializes in shutting you down , but he never showed any urgency,

Except for that wicked takedown attempt <lmao>

Brady had an amazing performance, but because of the robbery and corruption in the previous fight everyone wanted out of the event. Brady should fight for the title soon.

You definitely have to respect shavkats striking/power more than Leon’s. I’m not sold on his TDD/ground though.
Also seems to have worse striking defense than Leon
Shavkat mos def has weakness in his striking defense and relies on his chin, which seems to be amazing, because he ate clean Geoff Neal shots, but chins disappear all the time.

Leon needs to change camps. There’s no way he came in prepared for this.

Honestly expected better counter wrestling and sub defense from Leon. I think he’s on the down turn and Sean entering his prime. Fight would have looked different 4 years ago imo.

Second week in a row I needed my main event pick to hit to be over .500 for the night (it did I picked Brady.) Is this what @Luthien feels like always?

Sorry @Sixstring feel like I let you down, how'd you do?
