Murphy looking average af… point fighting, pedestrian grappling, zero killer instinct. Poor mans Arnold Allen at best.

On a good note, great to see Yanez back though, that’s how you make a statement.
Average is being kind. We have to remember what someone like Gaethe who is very similar in style did to a much younger, faster, more dangerous barboza compared to what we just saw.

The division is much better than those days now and Murphy couldn't finish 38 year old barboza who was standing there taking damage. He will need to level up drastically.

I am not too high on Murphy. He took too much damage later in the fight but it could be him not used to fighting 5 rounders.

He at least broke into top 15 now. He can fight Bryce.

Conor never faced Barboza...

I was just thinking about that when I made this thread earlier. No word yet but its probably time I brought it up again. Hopefully we can get that live thread option back. I agree that it makes the pbp threads better.
Thanks, man.

I think I was the only one who didn’t lol
I can’t stand boxing anymore
The events are too dragged out and all the clinching in fights kills me
I only watch the freak show boxing events now lol

I'll be honest, I just followed the boxing in the boxing PBP right here on Sherdog forum lol

This is the difference between fighting a really low level guy and fighting an extremely durable, very dangerous top 15 opponent.
Well, actually, it's a well-known fact that a knockout of a Contender Series signing who went 0-2 at Flyweight is more impressive than a dominant blood and guts decision over Edson Barboza.

Sorry, that's just a fact. Probably.
