Yeah, he was outmatched here relative to what he's been doing in this last stage of his career. Personally, I don't blame him for it. Hopefully he can snag a few more layups and call it a day. Even if he's sticking around to cash paychecks against low-level guys, eventually the UFC will need him to put over another surging, dangerous fighter, and it won't be pretty

Why? He came out of that fine. Took a shot, got dropped and then stayed pretty safe on the ground until tapping when he was done and not getting pounded out and destroyed.
