<3 me some Sherdog. The first fighter to actually have the nuts to stand up to the evil empire hated by all of Sherdog and you guys turn your back on him. For Shame.

Certainly I find the idea that Conor would be taking money otherwise used to invest in talent devolpment quite amusing given Zuffa's pay to new names and profit margins.

Not me man.

I'm beyond tired of seeing the endlessly greedy asshat UFC brass throwing fighters chump change while they rake in hundreds of millions off their blood & sweat.

Time for them to pay their fighters. If McG leads the way, good on him.

Conor is trying to go from being rich to being filthy rich.

Bad example. Lol

Who said this is about money? As of now there seems to be other concrete reasons why this happened.

Bad example? Revolutions require star power. Just because Conor is making a lot doesn't mean he deserves more based on his draw power.

"first fighter to stand up to evil empire"...not even fucking close

What happened when Aldo spoke up against the UFC? Conor fans shit all over him and bitched and complained saying he was so unprofessional and this is why he didn't have near as many fans as Conor. Fucking hypocrites

"Aldo needs to stfu, if he just learned how to promote instead of whining maybe he would be half as popular as Conor"

Now promoting isn't important to conor fans and he is supposedly the only fighter to ever speak out against the ufc...just wow

Oh come on. If this was Frankie Edgar or another great fighter who gets paid shit, I'd understand. But a guy who made about 12 million dollars in the last year? Nah.

How do you know it's the same people?

Shit thread

Talking smack in the media and not doing anything about it is about as weak as it gets.

In before Dana White says...

"Well, Connor never mattered much in the scheme of things anyway."

And the Sherdog Zuffa Zombies grunt approvingly in unison.

I don't think this is about money.

around 5M-10M after PPV buys, etc is plenty.

What does the amount mean? Less than worth is less than worth.

Maybe Conor wants to prepare for the rematch against the guy who just beat the shit out of him and the UFC wants him to hop on 14 hour flight to shoot silly commercials in Vegas. Maybe Conor feels like if the UFC wants to put him in a situation where he can't win the fight he's hyping, they should compensate him for the potential profits he'll lose when he gets embarrassed again on the biggest stage in UFC history.

He's far from the "first" who stand up against the UFC.
Randy Couture took the belt and a year off back in the day remember?
Many more fought the UFC, Tito, Rampage, BJ... the list go on and on

But I'm with you TS
