Media UFC continuing to make cringy decisions

Why? The BMF title is a cringe gimmick and Masvidal has lost 4 straight fights. From Dana hanging out with 20 year old youtubers, to lame WWE style gimmicks from fighters… Why does the UFC have to be so cringe?

Jorge is on the stage acting like he matters in the buildup to this fight. Lets forget that BMF is the dumb gimmick, if we look at it objectively, Leon Edwards is the lineal BMF champ. Imagine getting presented a fake belt by a guy who took 4 L’s in a row and is known for sucker punching dudes.

I don’t get the hate for the BMF title. I’m glad we finally get closure and see it defended.

It’s a gimmick for fighters who weren’t Division champions but good and tough fighters. Let the tradition of honoring tough or badass fighters continue. It’s like the intercontinental title and it gives some light to fighters outside of the Division’s belt.

They're both two of the most violent, entertaining fighters out there and they've given so much to this sport.

I wouldn't be surprised if they asked him and he said he was "unavailable". And when the next 5 people down the list aso said no, UFC breathed a heavy sigh of regret and sad acceptance, dug Masvidal out of the recycle bin and dusted him off for the gig.
