Pettis has the most marketing potential of anybody in the UFC, IMO. He has the style, ability, story, personality, looks, and background. He just needs to start fighting more, land a couple more highlight reel strikes in big fights, and be on top for a little while. The only thing holding him back a little is his weight. But that's not stopping Floyd and Pacquaio in boxing. Pettis will probably return to 155 in short order, one way or another.

I second this... what the hell are you going on about? I'm not even saying tl;dr, because I actually read all that, and most of them aren't champions, so how would they be the most popular champion???

Do you mean if they won the title, or are you asking who the most popular champions are?

I mean, the champions are already popular, so I don't know what obstacle you're referring to. Also, it's a fight, not a Miss World pageant.

1. It's not that hard. He clearly isn't saying these guys are champs, but making guesses about how popular they could be if champ.
2. Being champion does not equal being popular, although it pretty much ensures good name recognition.
