He beat Sergey Morozov, who's pretty damn good.

But it's annoying because nobody knows how good he ACTUALLY is, but a fight with Jack Shore would have given us a pretty good idea.

LHW - Jiri - He was a prospect two fights ago, so back then
MW - Imavov
WW - Brady, Shavkat
LW - Gamrot

I think he's better than some of these guys, like Gamrot. I've been on Gamrot train since he came over, but I don't think Gamrot is THAT good. Shore also isn't as good as I think he was, but I think Shore is better than Gamrot.

I think I’ve seen shore fight once and he dominated the entire fight bell to bell. Got over shadowed cause I believe it was on the same card as khamzat.

You’re not wrong. Similar to khabib there always seems to be a logical reason, and often times it’s “not his fault”. It has to be said though, the nurmagomedovs withdraw at an insanely high rate compared to other fighters, and at the end of the day there needs to be some form of accountability for that

Maybe that doesn't make a difference, but that's the kind of thing Ali Abdelaziz does, controlling social media output when his fighters don't look particularly great.

Nothing wrong with that, of course, it's all about damage limitation - but until the UFC or Dana come out and say 'yes, we pulled Umar' then you have to forgive the cynicism about the 'official line' coming out of the Nurmagomedov camp. They could be 100 % right, but at this point it has been reported as the third time he's pulled out of a UFC fight.

Ali's a fantastic manager, and part of it is he's stony faced when it comes to talking complete crap. That's actually a useful trait for a manager.

I refer you to that Moroccan kid desperately smuggling 'potatoes' into the UFC Covid 'bubble'.

Ali knows nobody will EVER believe that, but giving an answer and sticking to it goes some way to dampening the chatter. People get bored and move on. Even if Umar pulled out yet again because he or his camp didn't fancy the fight, Khabib making something up about how they never knew anything about it has the same effect.
